Handyman Service
The job was bid and we gave him half upfront for his work and
materials. He took off the atrium, shattered the glass and dumped in
our woods. He began to erect the new porch with sub-grade lumber that
was not dry using lag bolts to secure the load. He never paid for the tin material he ordered which would have been
3,500 of our deposit money, never paid subs and never showed up for work
after the first week. I consider myself lucky that he did not complete
the job as it is evident it would have collapsed and could have been
extremely dangerous. We never got our money and learned that one person
we had called as a reference also was abandoned by Mr. Papia. We had to
not only loose our money, but pay to have the sub grade structure
removed and cut into firewood and have a company start from scratch to
rebuild.
