We received an estimate for the work prior to the start of the renovation. When the final bill arrived, it was hundreds of dollars less than the estimate -- a very welcome surprise. This is typical of this business. Even when they installed our new furnace and air conditioner years ago, they were very up-front with costs. They were very knowledgable about the system that would work best for our home and did not try to sell us something we did not need. That is one of the reasons we continue to work with them.
For this particular job, the crew arrived to dismantle the furnace on time. They were very professional. When the contractor was finished with the work they needed to do in the bathroom, Gilleland and Merkosky returned to reassemble the furnace and new ductwork. A crew of 3 came in to do this work and they did so quickly and efficiently. They tested the heating and cooling before they left. All is well, which is why we continue to do business with them.
