Also, our heated gutters ended up being an unanticipated large consumer of time for the contractor. He wanted us to pay extra, but we felt it was poor diligence on his part, and we refused that extra charge. We haven't gone through an ice dam season yet, so we can't say if the new roof has solved our leak problem.
"Hi Cynthia, I apologize for the delay. I left for a short family vacation and I am currently on my way back to Erie. I can call you first thing Monday morning. When I initially came out to do your estimate I made you aware that if you wanted just a roof estimate I could print it out while I was there. You chose a very intricate roof design and I told you it would be awhile before I could get you an estimate. The design company's in Erie are very busy this time of year and they email us the designs in order to there orders. I can certainty send you a rough estimate instead of a detailed one for now. Would that be sufficient for now? Talk to you soon."
