The job cam out well. Some hiups along the way, such as may walls not being square or plumb. Also needed some drywall repairs before a new suroound could be installed.

The tub looks brand new-in fact my husband thought it was! They were
neat and thorough, and explained the entire process to us before they
got started. One thing that I paid a little more to have them do was
to have them fill in the seem where the two sections of the tub are
caulked. This eliminates the need for re-caulking and no mold can form.
It now looks seem less. I highly recommend this!!

Rob arrived on Monday to put a new bottom in the bath as it was cracked. Tuesday he prepped and refinished the ensuite shower. Wednesday he prepped the main bathroom bath/shower unit and Thursday he refinished this.
Overall great service, arrived on time, professional, got on with the job and did what needed to be done. Price for the amount of work done was good.
The only downside was that Rob offered to change our shower mixers which were the original ones and quite tarnished, he even went and purchased new ones on our behalf which was great. The bath one he replaced with no issues, however while changing the ensuite shower mixer the copper pipe on the faucett broke. While this was not Rob's fault as the copper pipe was probably corroded and I think anyone changing it could have broken it, it did mean that we had to call out an emergency plumber and we ended up with another bill of $575 to repair the faucett which was an unexpected and disappointing extra expense.
However the bath and shower look amazing - like brand new. Everything was cleaned away and left tidy, edges were all caulked and we are very happy with the new look of our updated bathrooms. We would recommend Robs services to anyone wanting to refinish their baths/showers.

Having an old house with one bathroom, a full gut was out of the question. I called Sharer Fiberglass Repair after searching in the phone book. He gave me a rough estimate to replace the shower surround and refinish our old cast iron tub. He was upfront about the cost being higher in the event any drywall work needed done (which turned out to be the case). He did have some difficulty with the shower surround as our house framing is old (built in 1905) along with some mold on the drywall underneath. Having done some of my own house repairs in the past, I completely understand that our house is not all plumb and square. Our old house has plenty of challenges, yet he managed to take his time to cut the surround to make it look good.
So far, the finish on the tub and new surround are holding up good. He provided a sheet on how to clean the new finished tub. He was prompt each day he was here. I would definitely hire him again if I needed a tub refinished.

From start to finish, this company was courteous, professional, and took care of every detail. I deal with a lot of contractors and service providers, but have worked with very few who are as professional and thorough as Sharer Fiberglass. They took the initiative in providing me with the required paperwork prior to the job (insurance, contractors certification, etc) which I typically have to ask for. The bathtub looked so amazing after he was finished, that I couldn't believe it was the same tub. It was also a nice surprise to see a service provider clean up so well after the job was completed. I will most certainly be hiring them in the future.
