We can’t say enough about Citiwide Adjusters, INC. especially Mr. Harry Kantor. In today’s climate, the insurance companies are not your friend. They are only trying to settle claims as quickly and cheaply as possible. Everyone needs a strong advocate and champion on their side to navigate the insurance world. Mr. Kantor fits the bill to a tee. He really goes to bat for his clients and takes every claim personally. If we had not involved Citiwide Adjusters, INC. in this claim process, we would have only received one fourth of our present-day settlement. At that point, we found Harry Kantor of Citiwide Adjusters. He worked with us for months to get further funds from our insurance company. There were many delays along the way but Harry eventually worked through all the roadblocks and we received the needed funds. We owe him much gratitude for sticking with us!

I was referred to Harry Kantor and Citiwide Adjusters through a friend. I have experience using adjusters going back 25+ years but my prior adjuster was swamped with work due to a recent storm. We had smoke damage in our home. It seems the company was more interested in juicing up the claim than handling our more pressing need... a smooth transition to restoring our home to it's prior condition. Without the proper warning, they sent in a cleaner to clean our personal clothing etc. The cleaner [without proper notice] took every item that could possibly be cleaned in our home without giving us an opportunity to retain enough items to function normally. My wife and daughters were dumbfounded when we arrived home from work and realized there were no clothes wear to work or around the house. Harry failed to explain this and the cleaner told us he had worked with Harry for years making be believe this was a good old pal relationship designed to line their pockets versus help the injured party. Kantor's poor communication and could have been better handled. Like most adjusters, he called in ServePro to handle the restoration. For the most part, they did a professional job, but when we had an issue Kantor seemed to pass the buck to Servepro instead of getting involved. Generally I was unhappy with Kantor's handling of the claim relative to what I had experienced previously with my prior adjustor. To make matters much worse, I requested that Kantor relinquish the claim to another adjuster and he literally flew off the handle. He argued "you are stuck with me for life" flaunting his contract in my face. After sending the contract to my attorney I realized it would be too costly to try to fight him legally. I highly recommend folks considering Citiwide steer clear.

Harry and team did a great job getting me the most money for the fallen tree on my property. No way I would have been able to get what they did for me. Use an expert, dont try and go in alone. Would use again (although I hope I dont have to)

Citiwide and Mr. Kantor were out the first thing the next am to take photos and file my insurance claim. I can not say enough good things about them. They are wonderful to work with. They are there for you every step of the way!! A+++++++++++++

The adjuster came out. He inspected the damage and then looked at associated areas to see if there was damage I hadn't noticed. He wrote down the information, explained everything, and filed the claim for me. He next came out to my home with the insurance company's adjuster and he negotiated with them and got me a wonderful settlement. They called me promptly when they heard back from the insurance company and let me know what was going on. They obtained a great settlement for me. Bottom line: i hope I won't ever need to but if I do need an adjuster again, I will certainly call Citiwide. They explain all of the details to you. We called Citiwide Adjusters before we called the insurance company. Austin Vitacolonna came to our house the same day as the plumbers. He took pictures of all the work & instructed the workers to keep all the old pipes. After the work was finished, he returned with the insurance agent and went over every detail. He even knew our ceiling was a patent done by only one company. Thanks to him we received a settlement we would never have gotten on our own.
