Things did not go well. First, Juan, the contractor, was hitting my bathroom wall with a hammer to make a hole for the medicine cabinet. He didn't square the hole and so my medicine cabinet wasn't level (1/2 inch off from end to end). He decided to cut the back of my medicine cabinet to level the cabinet but it is still was off by a 1/4 inch from end to end. To add insult to injury, after installation, the wall on both the right and left side of my medicine cabinet began to crack a few weeks after installation. Next, the tile floor was installed incorrectly. Most grout lines weren't lined up and the grout was discolored and cracking. Juan, the contractor used non-sanded grout in grout joints that were almost a half inch (should of used sanded grout). Later, when I asked Juan to take me through his installation process because of my concerns, he told me that he didn't use mesh tape with the HardieBacker board which voids the warranty as per the proper installation requirements by the HardieBacker company. In addition, when he installed the baseboard and quarter round, he measured one section incorrectly which left a gap between the left side of my vanity and the baseboard/quarter round. In addition, the paint around the shower area began to bubble up two months after he repaired, primed, and painted the walls. So, as you probably would imagine, I'm pretty disgusted with Juan Raul Centurion, which a co-worker recommended to me. This is why I'm on Angie's List now. The last thing I would like to mention is that when I asked Juan Raul Centurion if he had a contractors registration #, we told me he didn't have one. (I'm a new home owner and when I called a contractor listed on Angie's List, he told me to ask Juan about the contractors registration #). This was my experienced with the above mentioned and my opinions and solely my opinions.
