Heritage Lawn and Landscaping owned by Tom Bechtel was a great experience . We got constant assurance that all would be done right , and it was . Toms Employee Travis Webster, was nothing but professional as he was the one who actually took control of the job . He was always there when he said he would be and went far above and beyond in performance . He amazed us all ( including neighbors ) with his skill . He got the job done ahead of schedule and put everything back the way it was. Extremely pleased with all of the employees and the hard work and professionalism the displayed. Tom Bechtel and his company and crew are the right guys to take on your toughest jobs .

They came in at about 30 percent higher than the other two estimates that I had for a very large job. Getting them to provide me an accurate quote took them about three weeks. It took forever to get accurate information and a quote from them. They sent me a quote that was within my budget, then a couple of minutes later they pulled it back, they had made a  mistake, and added $1000 to it. The average price that I got from two other companies was $3000, and they came in at $4000. It was for upgrades. They didn't get the business.

The services have been applied on schedule. My expectation is for premium result as this company charges premium rates in compairson to oher local companies.  Thus far I am satisfied with the weed control but am uncertain if I am seeing premium result so far.  The technician is very professtional, personable and easy to work with.  Heritage technicians manage their own work so the office is not able to give you information about scheduling.  They will have technicain call you who will be doing the work if you have a question.

They did some work and we weren't that happy. They came back and fixed it. Now, we're very happy with what they did. We did some work on the yard for our septic system and it needed re-grading. They did an excellent job the second time. It was kind of a mess at first and that was what they were there for. They cleaned it up but they just didn't have the water run off the way we liked it and asked for. They did it right the second time. They've been done work for us through all of the winter. They were very responsive, punctual, and professional.

I was pleasantly surprised when he actually called to say he couldn't make it Friday because his truck broke down. Most contractors just don't show up. He called while he was waiting for the tow truck. He said he should be able to make it on Monday, which would have been fine but he came on Saturday to do the job. I heard the chain saw and went down to talk to him. We had already discussed what needed to be done. They ripped out weeds, put weed fabric down, then tan bark in the areas that I have been neglecting. I used to do all my own landscaping but it is so nice to let someone else do it so I can spend my time on other things. He does a great job and I have a nicer looking yard without all the aches and pains afterward. I think his prices are fair and it's money well spent for me. Mr. Armstrong and his employees are always professional and friendly.

Heritage Lawn & Landscape Care have good communication. They provide a good service. They have attention to detail. You get what you pay for. They provide a good, honest service. I have no question that they do as they say they're going to do and bill me correctly for their work. This is my second year with them and I have no reason to change.

I just finished the 2012 season with Heritage.  They provide scheduled lawn treatments, prune my trees and large shrubs, and remove things that have become too large. I have used them since 2004 and would not use any other service.

So far so good...yard was a weedy mess...lot better already...will need another year to really determine if these guys can get the job done as I hope they can. Used them because three neighbors near us used them and they have beautiful lawns!

It went pretty good.  The arborist mapped out the existing landscape and came back a few days later with a design that was based on our input.  It took a few weeks for them to schedule the work but once they set a date then the work was accomplished according to schedule. Heritage subbed out the tree removal.  The yard picked up a little bit of damage from moving in the big trucks and the cleanup could have been a little more thorough.  The estimate was exactly what we paid.

We’ve used them for about five years or more.

They got rid of a certain kind of weed that Trulawn was unable to get rid of.  I was pleased with the work they did and we no longer have that weed any longer. They did a great job. They are good.

They were referred to me by another person. They did what they said they were going to do; the lawn started looking good right away. They oversaw the yard and leveled it out. They did a really good job.

Our contact with the people at Heritage was always pleasant. However, the work they did was very poor. We had our lawn reseeded in October, 2009. After the work was done there was almost no followup. The following spring there were numerous bare spots in the lawn. When ask about the spots Heritage sent no one to look at the lawn and did nothing to resolve the situation. After several calls I ask to buy seed similar to that used on the lawn. I was even willing to drive to their office and pick up the seed myself but was told that they would deliver some seed instead. Ultimately it took four weeks before they delivered the seed. As the summer progressed the holes grew and lawn deteriorated. Again when informed Heritage did nothing. By the end of the summer I was embarrassed at the condition of the lawn. Even now (Summer, 2011) there are bare spots that remain.   

The staff we dealt with at Heritage are cordial people but the work they did was unacceptabloe. Again, once the sale was made there was no followup at all and when requests for service were made there was no satisfaction provided. We don't anticipate ever using Heritage again.
