Interior Painting, Exterior Painting
The wallpaper glue was not stripped/sanded and removed adequately. Contractor did not use the primer/stain sealer I requested and the glue stains have come through the walls after multiple coats. It looks streaky, really terrible, even after repeat stain sealer. It took three months after the job for oil-based stain sealer and repair of a broken window. The final cost was $3500 over the estimate. I found multiple cigarette butts, paint rags and paint cans around the property. The electrical outlet covers were never replaced. I moved the furniture back into place myself. He requested $13,500 for the whole job that took him two weeks to complete, claiming ten hour days for three painters, although no one stayed after 3:0 PM.
