Very well done, processional, polite, and explained exactly what was needed.

It went great. Our old doors were removed promptly which provided the time needed for our contractor to reframe the new openings to our specifications. The new doors and openers were delivered and installed carefully and expertly . Scheduling the installation was easy. To make a geat experience even better, the cost was significantly lower than another door company that carried exactly the same product. We are very happy with our new garage doors.

I have always preferred dealing with local family owned business. I feel that as an old customer, I receive better service on a much more personal but professional level. I recommended them to a friend who had also built a garage and I loved hearing that their son's came out to estimate and complete the work. My entrance door is fine but I happened to see them on Facebook and saw before and after pictures of work done. I have not even looked up their website or spoke to them yet but I saw what I liked from the photos and already know exactly what I want. I know I will not be disappointed. Single now, I do not feel as though I have to have someone here to listen in to know I am getting a fair deal and not being taken advantage of. The service was incredibly prompt and the installation went very well. The previous door trim had been installed improperly and the team fixed the siding errors and installed the new trim properly. The team was on time and finished in one day. They were really nice to talk to and explained everything clearly.

Did an excellent job. When we couldn't register one of the garage doors, they were very helpful and fixed the problem immediately. Would definitely recommend.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided - start to finish. The person I spoke with during my initial phone contact was friendly and professional. He discussed my repair issues and made appropriate recommendations. He set up a service appointment that fit well into my schedule and then provided me with a cost estimate. The estimate turned out to be accurate and in line with the actual cost. Two technicians arrived at the agreed upon time to perform the service. They did an excellent job with the repairs and everything worked great following the visit. The thing that I was most impressed with was the thoroughness of the technicians. Following the repairs, they checked and double checked to make sure that every nut and bolt had been properly secured and tightened. They tested the doors several times before leaving to make sure everything was operating perfectly. They also left the garage cleaner than when they started. They swept the floors and made sure that there was no debris left behind. We could not be more pleased with the service provided. We would highly recommend KJ Door Service. I will definitely be using them again in the future when it comes time to replace the doors.

After 18 years, the gears on my Craftsman garage door opener finally wore out.  I decided to replace the original door that came with the house with a new insulated door and a new garage door opener.
     I selected KJ Doors because my neighbor used them several years ago to have a new insulated door installed and was very happy with them.  I checked them out on Angie's List and their reviews were excellent.
     My initial visit to their office was on May 20, 2015 and I discussed my needs with the Operations Manager (Vince) and received an initial quote along with a brochure from which to select my door.  I stopped back about a month later to get answers to a few remaining questions and make my final door selection.
     We selected a date for Vince to come to the house and finalize the proposal as he takes any measurements that he needs and verifies that what is in the proposal can be done.  And it is a good thing - it turns out that I have an 8' door and not a 7' door as I thought.  That increased the final price slightly (as you would expect) but at least no time was wasted by ordering the wrong door and then having to wait an additional month for the correct door.  Kudos Vince!!!
     I gave Vince a 30% deposit and he ordered my door.  Vince contacted me approximately 2.5 weeks later when the door was received by KJ and we set a date the following week to have the agreed upon work completed.
     The two installers (John and Trevor) were at my house at 8:15AM to begin work on July 9, 2015.  It took them just under 5 hours to complete all of the the work which was right in line with expectations.  With the exception of one small 2" spot where I had to touch up some paint on the wood to which the new PVC molding was attached, the workmanship was professional and very well done!!!  Everything (old door, old door opener, and old molding) was replaced with the exception of two right-angle brackets that were reused because they were identical for the new door.   Vince had even noted that on his house visit.  In addition, the installers take all of the old materials with them so you are not responsible for having to have a special pick-up from your garbage company to remove the old materials.
     The door and PVC molding look great and it is nice to have a functioning garage door opener again!!!! 
     I would absolutely use KJ Doors again.

I called and spoke with Vince, he was very helpful on the phone and came out to my house quickly.  It took about a week for the door to come in, and they had an installer out right away.  The installer did a great job, very pleased with their work.  I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone else.

Great! - Friendly, clean, efficient, professional - I would recommend!

We had visited the store, with pictures and measurements of our existing door. We picked out the door we would like and set up an appointment with an estimator, after received a general quote at the store.
The estimate showed up on time, and was very polite and customer oriented.  He gave me advice about what needed moving and what didn't and agreed to rewire the door sensors at no charge because of the clearance required for the new type of door opener.  We also discussed the windows, and because they would reduce the insulation ability of the doors, I decided against them.  At that time I gave a deposit of 500 so they could order our doors
There was a several week lag before the doors came in, but when they did, they called and scheduled an installation time.
The  installer came on time and I made sure that he understood what I had discussed with the estimator.  He performed the work quickly, efficiently, and left the garage spotless.
The final bill was even slightly less than the estimate.
We are very pleased with the work, the price and the service.

To be honest with you -they are not the cheapest - there are other providers that are cheaper, but KJ doors has a showroom - you can actually go to and look and hear the products and see how they work.  Vince was very helpful in guiding us to the right garage door.  The installer on the day of installation called and showed up on time, told me he was there, did his work in the garage came and found me when finished - had me enter in the codes for the key pad, showed me how everything worked and left.  Not one piece of trash was left in our garage and he was very professional.  I have recommended them and would recommend them again to anyone!

I had hired KJ Door Service to replace my old, worn-out, builder grade door and garage door opener. I also had the company add aluminum cladding to the outside door frame in order to improve the garage's appearance and protect the wood framing from rot. The entire process went smoothly. KJ returns calls promptly and provided me with a detailed and accurate estimate of what the job would cost. The tech arrived punctually and had the entire job completed in just one day. He also took the time to go over the operation of the new opener he installed and the maintenance steps I should perform to maximize the lifespan of the door and opener. The new door looks great! I am extremely pleased with the quality of the materials used and the quality of the installation.

The price was very reasonable after comparing a number of providers. They workd with us on the materiala and design. The deinsallation/installation took one day. The results are excellent and we have had no problems with any of the work they performed. I would use them again.

The crew was very professional and courteous.  They took extreme care of the surroundings by laying down drop clothes and keeping the area tidy.  They communicated very well during the process and I would definitely use them again without hesitation.

The office was very helpful in scheduling the appointment.  A two person crew showed up on time and performed the work. They installed a new opener and key pad, and also checked the operation of the door and replaced a few old rollers. New opener works great.  I was happy with their service and would use them again
