Technician arrived punctually. Cleaned his feet before entering the house. Made acceptable suggestion to repair and capping of leaky pipe. Completed job quickly, cleanly. Did systematic examination of water softener issues. Identified and replaced defective part. Did test of softener cycles. Recommended that we use salt crystals instead of pellets. Wrote up job report and left.

Went well. They are extremely busy to give them some credit but it took a while for them to return my inquiry (a couple of days). However, once they came out, it was very efficient and I just wanted them to move my old softener inside but since it didn't work well I knew they would try to talk me into a new one. To my surprise they are not hard sell at all! They told me with very straight facts about the difference between the new softener and mine and it was only a few dollars more than moving the old one inside (which I knew from a previous plumber's quote). So I got a smaller, more efficient water softener for the same price and a warranty. Guy that came out and installed it was on-time, efficient and very courteous and helpful explaining it to me.
