It was unbelievable. Everything went like clockwork. I am a perfectionist and everything was perfect. He has supervisors working on the jobs to make sure everything stays on track. It went smoothly.

We contacted Rob to build a custom made home on our lakefront land.  We had home plans already that we really liked, Rob and his architect customized the plans to meet our needs/wants. 
The entire process from start finish took about 8 months - from contract signing to home completion.  
Pleasant experience, would definitely recommend.  We have a beautiful new home.

RKA Construction did a great job. Quality work for a great price. Worksite was kept neat and tidy. Cleaned up after themselves. Windows look great and work great. And there is no longer any draft as previously existed with the old windows. Would definitely recommend RKA Construction and will be using them again with future work we will need done with our older home.

My husband and I moved into a house about 2 years ago. While we love the house there was no real comfortable area in the backyard to hang out and enjoy the warm spring and summer days. We contacted RKA Construction to help design and build a deck in our back yard attached to our house. The first visit with Rob happened towards the end of May 2014. Rob provided a listening ear to what our wishes were and came back to us within a couple of days with the design of the deck and estimated price. When obtaining the permits we ran into a bit of a snag due to property line issues, Rob quickly met with us again and offered different solutions that would keep the deck close to the original size with just minor design changes, which still matched with my dream ideals of the deck I wanted. Work then began in mid June and was completed by July 3, 2014, just in time for our annual 4th of July party, as requested by us to have the work completed at that time. Rob's crew of workers were professional during the whole process and maintained a clean and safe environment while the deck was being built. The deck is amazing, it is large enough to have 3 separate living/entertaining spaces, it has a herringbone inlaid pattern for the wood work, built in benches with the edges of the wood rounded so that it does not cut into your legs when you sit down, and the round edges of the wood work continue with the railings and stairs. These are details I never gave thought to when originally planning the deck, but I am so grateful that Rob and his crew were that detailed oriented. It is beyond what I was dreaming of and it is my favorite place to hang out at now.

They got it done really quickly and they did good job.  I got along with him great and I actually went out to dinner with him.  I also got along with all his staff and there were no problems with them.  They are genuine contractors, so they know all of their people and all of their sub-contractors and they are professional and they did a really good job.
