The project went as planned except for it rained 3 of the 4 days of the project, which delayed the installation of the attic ventilation fan and bathroom vents in the roof because the roof was wet and dangerous to climb on.  I was very impressed with Brian, the owner, and his crew lead Wes.  They were very professional, kind and attentive.  The only negative I have for their work was that they left most of my windows unlocked and left one window in the basement completely open.  This was a very minor infraction. I would hire these guys again without a doubt. All in all, they came in and got the job done.  I am very happy with the work, the price and the company overall.  I can tell a big difference in the upstairs of my house, it is a lot cooler on these very hot summer days. Hoping to see savings on my utility bill too. I give them an overall rating of an A.

They were very good.  I liked their service.  They worked very efficiently.  They did quality work.  It did make a difference in my house.  I did feel warm immediately.  So I am planning to use them in the future.

We just purchased our home and our home inspector noted that the attic had very little insulation, so we decided to insulate to save money and energy. We received three quotes for this job and SPS was the lowest price. During the estimate, we were impressed that Brian (I believe he is the owner) went into the attic for a long time to really understand what issues exist and how to fix them (as opposed to others- one didn't even look into the attic, and another peeked in briefly). Our only disappointment was that we did not receive our estimate quickly (we really wanted to make a decision), however when we did hire them, they were able to come out the next week which was very helpful- it's getting cold outside
Three contractors came and completed the job in half a day (Brian was not one of them). They arrived on time and were very professional. When they completed the job, they asked whether we had any questions and cleaned up very thoroughly. Overall we were very pleased and will recommend SPS to our friends.

They did a great job covering the inside of our house with plastic to help keep it as clean as possible during this dusty process.  Our utility bills dropped by 20% after the work.  Can't beat that!

It went fine, they had told us that they might not be abel to get it in by the end of the month, but they had a cancellation and they were able to come in and get it done and there was no additional charge and the complete process went well, and we were please witht he work.

We worked with Brian Snedeker and he was extremely thorough and helpful. He explained a lot up front about the insulation process and about the specific challenges that our space presented. He explained the different types of insulation that would go into the kneewalls versus the sloped/ceiling areas. On the day of the job, workers arrived punctually and completed all the work within one day. The space where they worked was our master suite and they did an excellent job of both covering up and protecting the furniture, as well as cleaning up after they had finished the job. There was a little plaster dust left behind afterwards, but overall, it was very clean. Most of all, they completed everything as agreed and on time. It was a smooth process from start to finish and there was a noticeable improvement in our comfort level.

The work turned out great. They were very professional. It is warm outside so it is hard to tell but I don't have to turn on my space heater like I normally do. They completely cleaned up after themselves. I'm having them come back and work on my crawlspace next week.

From the estimate to cleanup, SPS exhibited the highest level of professionalism. Brian's proposal made the most sense of all the estimates I received, and the difference in temperature inside the home is dramatic. I appreciate that my kitchen no longer has a cross-wind when the windows are closed!

I also got a number of proposals for the job and they seemed to be the most complete about what they were doing. They explained things very clearly and I thought that they really understood the job in totality the best. It seemed to be a fair price, but it could have been a little better. I would use them again if I needed to.

They carefully covered the stairs & rooms which were both carpeted. My new carpeting was not soiled. Crew worked hard & thoroughly cleaned up, except for floors in eaves. A call to the contractor & the men were promptly back to fix this.

Workers arrived within the time space they had given me on all 3 days they needed to complete the work. The owner, Brian, is very thorough in his explanations and in his estimate. His price was not the cheapest, but I liked what he outlined for me better than the other contractors I called. I bid this out to 3 insulators from Angies List. Brian came the first day to coordinate the project and left it in the hands of his workers. The only complaint I have is that they did not always keep the dust barrier up completely on the third floor. This is a very dusty process so that's important, even though it is difficult to do when men are going up and down. They also left my front door wide open at times when it was not necessary. The job was gone over by the lead worker after all was done so that I could inspect the work. They forgot to show me the porch though and I did end up calling Brian, the owner, to ask about the patching that was done. Overall I believe they did a good job. It's impossible to tell until it gets really cold how well this will work. The workers were friendly enough as well.

They broke shelves in 3 closets but fixed 2 of them. There was 1 guy who had a little bit of an attitude. I would probably use them in the future but I would definitely want to be home and be able to watch them. I would suggest that they let the homeowner know if they break something in the future and fix it.

Excellent! Brian runs a family organization that's highly ethical and professional in their dealings. He was extremely knowledgeable about his business, including the technical side of insulation; answered more questions than I could think of in his free appraisal-estimate-recommendation and outlined for me several options without pushing any one of them. The actual job was quickly, cleanly by his brother and crew (on-time friendly, likeable guys who knew what they were doing and were there to work) after several hours of prep. work and blowing insulation in an attic on a fairly hot day, you barely knew they had been there when they left. The follow-up by Brian and his paperwork was complete, including a detailed separate receipt for tax deduction purposes (which I had forgot to request). I even received a nice, appreciated hand-signed Christmas card from the company several months later; a nice touch.

Brian returned our call quickly and came over to give us an estimate. He explained the options for doing a complete and a partial job of insulating. The job was scheduled very quickly and the crew showed up right on time. They were very polite. They covered carpets and furniture and blocked off other rooms with plastic to maintain the dust. The work was done quickly. The crew worked straight through, finished in one day, and cleaned up very well.

The company representative, Brian, was very knowledgeable and candid in explaining various alternatives and options. He suggested economical solutions to provide the best value at the least cost. The work crew was courteous and efficient and promptly performed some touch-up work I requested at the end of the job. I am extremely satisfied with the job.
