It went extremely well.Mr Pauley was able to refinish my 100 year old “Red Oak” hardwood floors to near perfect and to its original color with an eye- catching shine and the price was very reasonable.He performed the work on my floors as if they were his own; He also made the very broken and damaged steps on the stairway look appealing and stylish by repairing and painting them ,in addition, his workers were professional, polite and punctual. What amazed me the most was very little dust left behind . I am overall very pleased and will definitely recommend and hire him again..

Had my dining room done first then the living room and steps Was overall very happy with the work that was done.The guys came in and new what they had to do were very polite cleaned up after themselves covered the rooms that were not being done even did alittle extra work would definitely hire them again

I had Paulie come out to my house I had him refinish the entire house. His employees were very respectful they try to contain as much dust as possible. Needless to say I was completely happy with the results!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes on the difference that he made with my 90-year-old Floors I’ve always wanted hardwood floors and he did a magnificent job I would recommend him to everyone!

I paid 4700$ for my floors to be refinished.. There was sand left on a good portion of 1 room floor and polyurethane laid over it. My wood blinds were ruined because they failed to put up plastic.. Or I guess for 4700$ that was supposed to be my responsibility! Cheap polyurethane was used on floors. Ive had my floors done before and they were amazing for an old house. Not sure if there was a difference with oil vs water based. When I look close at the floor I can tell that a regular mopping was done with the polyurethane rather than laying it down the way the flooring is or maybe it should be opposite... But the stain was laid by just swinging the mop on the floor!! It took 3 weeks for job to be finished with excuse after excuse.. He takes on more jobs than he can handle but yet... Runs immediately to the bank when he is given a check!!!! Absolutely horrible.. shouldve trusted my gut he talks like a salesman not a craftsman!!! I unfortunately had to chalk it up to the fact that I shouldve waited for the guy who done my work before who I see has 150 "A" ratings on this website.. I shouldve looked this guy up !!

This man Paulie claimed he could install kitchen hardwood floors, we paid $950 upfront in materials he showed up with what his installers said was about 30square feet. We needed 300. We had to wait hours for him to go pick up wood so that the job be done. His men then damaged our kitchen island banging a hole through it, did not tell us of the damage existed and proceeded to cover it up with spackle we had laying around the house. He also used our good kitchen knives to open the wood packaging. After being promised our kitchen would match or closely match with our existing floors he stained them a dark red when our existing as seen is a honey color. He then knew he made a mistake came back and resanded the entire kitchen again with a high powered machine not being careful of all the damage he was doing to our base cabinets. Later stating he had know idea how that happened ( his excuse for everything! Thats normal he would say, ill paint your 20k cabinets that are custom fabricated with touch up paint. He then told us he replaced boards by our front door and when I told him our home camera system showed otherwise he didnt say anything. Our floors have lines and splash marks all over, missing spots of poly throughout, are 3 different colors and dings and dents he created and didnt ( or couldnt fix) he also left his garbage in front of my home where my childrens bikes were. We dont place garbage there nor would we ever with boards of nails sticking from them. Thank God i found them before my kids stepped on them. He was by far the worst contractor weve ever had , not covering any of our belongings, covering rooms so sand dust didnt enter other areas. Told us everything was normal and shrugged off any wrong doing to it being normal. When wanted to fix a matter he showed up at 6pm at night to to put a coat of poly on that we couldn’t walk on in 8 hours . Which means we have no access to our bedrooms until 1am with our small children. Thanks for fixing your mistake when it’s convenient for you, rather then a customer. A One Star is generous. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I have 3 dogs (and fosters in and out), 3 cats and 3 people, full time in the house.   Kids, Grandkids visitiing often so the carpet takes a beating.  I've had other organizations pretreat/deodorize/clean the carpet for $150+.  I got Paulie's name through a current customer.  My appointment was scheduled for a Sat so I wasn't sure how it was going to work out when I received a call,  the prior Tuesday, saying he would be there in 15 minutes.  He'd gotten me mixed up with another client.  But come Sat, he arrived within the scheduled hour. 
He uses a portable steamer, which I was not used to, as other organizations had the machine built into the truck.    Seemed to work fine.  He had to hook it up on the front porch through the front door.  A minor concern was the machine had to be filled (approx 4 buckets) from a house hot water source, in my case the kitchen sink.  He also uses house power and needs 2 seperate power sources so as not to blow a breaker.  He worked on the carpet for 45 minutes and it looked and smelled great.   Another minor concern was the table/couch feet were placed back directly on the damp carpet.  Other organizaions use plastic strips to protect the legs.  All in all it was a good experience and for the price I will try to clean the carpet 3 times a year (recommended by Paulie).
