We were having an issue with our 18 year old Grandfather clock which we had purchased new, from Vandorn's Clock Shop in Sugar Grove, PA, in 1994. The center weight would no longer stay up after being wound. We called John Vandorn and he said he would be down to check it out. He came when he said he would. After further inspection, he determined it would need the movement replaced. He removed the movement and said he would have to order another. He told us it might be three or four weeks before we would get our clock working again. He wanted to set up the new movement in his shop for a few weeks to make sure everything would be right. After three weeks or so he called and said he would be right down to install the movement in our clock. Again, he was there when he said he would be. He put the new movement back in the clock and it's worked like new ever since.
Description of Work: Remove, replace, & re-install the movement in our 18 year old Ridgeway Grandfather clock.
