The Other Side Movers

Do not hire this company!! This is not the company out of Utah that only does local moving. Their name used to be Precision Relocation. They recently changed their name. If you want to research this company look up Precision relocation. The DOT numbers are the same and so is the address. They are very unprofessional. They claim that they are professional packers yet things were shoved in boxes without any protection. They ate some of my food, spit chewing gum in my sink, left trash all over my yard. They will not get you your stuff when promised and they will keep making excuses. My first delivery was only some of my stuff and a lot of boxes had been crushed, destroyed and some of my stuff I packed myself was repacked in their own boxes. I had several damaged items. When they finally showed up with the rest of my stuff we had expensive power tools missing and no one knows where they are. They pick up your stuff and then drop it at their warehouse in NJ. They will give you a low quote and once they have all your stuff packed and wrapped they will tell you it is more than the quote. A lot of people received double the price, mine was over 2k more. I left expensive things behind to save space and money. Now that all my stuff is in a storage unit we measured, and its closer to the original quote I received. Because of all the stuff that happened at my house on pick up day they agreed to cut my balance "owed" in half. After only receiving half my shipment and seeing things broken i was outraged and sent them an email outlining the whole experience and the numerous FMCSA violations and told them of an attorney consult. I received a call the next day from "Tim" who is arrogant and will talk over you and doesn't really care what you have to say then they will tell you to calm down. They say all the other reviews are false, yet you just lived it. He tried to renig on the agrmt to cut my balance owed in half so i said fine keep my stuff. He said he would honor the agrmt if i agreed to sign a release waiving my right to submit complaints, post reviews etc. When i said it was worth it for me to pay the money to save someone else from this he lowered it by another 375. The form was wrong and they had to redo it. By the time I received it it was too late for me to get it notarized and the driver called me that night and said he would be there in the morning. I didn't have a chance to get it notarized. The driver refused to unload without the money. I asked for a receipt, he told me he didnt like my attitude. I said how would you feel if this was your stuff? I have power tools missing. He said well its not my stuff, I dont care about your stuff. He walked off and made a phone call. Came back and had written I paid the money and signed it and i gave him the money. Told them to just leave the stuff on the ground and we would bring it in. I just wanted them gone. No mention of the form so since they obviously stole my 700 in power tools I wasnt about to offer it. These people are liars and crooks and changed their name most likely to avoid people knowing about all their reviews. Dont get fooled like I did. If someone calls to give you a quote from the Other Side Movers, and you google them, you will find the great company out of Utah and think thats who you are dealing with.
