I wouldn't recommend this company at all as they are totally unprofessional.
On the FOURTH service call was told serviceman would arrive between 10 AM and 1 PM. At 1 PM I called the store, was told he was "behind" and might be "an hour or two late." Is there any reason they couldn't have notified me of this two hours earlier? At 3 PM I call the store again and am told he is "in the area" but he has another service call that he "might" do first. This is unconscionable in a day and age of telephones -- not to mention cell phones, email and texting. Very bad customer service -- I have now been a prisoner in my own home for 5+ hours.
And he still isn't here.
Hence, the crappy review.
Made two more appointments. Repairman did not come at the agreed upon time and repair was not done. Left several messages but never received a call back. Called again and was told that I needed to call my warranty provider to re-open my repair case. She then went on to say that I refused to let the repair man in on one occasion and was not at home at the appointment time at the two others, and that is what she would tell anyone who inquired as to why my repair was not done. In other words that she would lie as to why the repairman did not do the repair, that it was my fault. When I called my warranty company, they thought I just wanted a different repair company. When I explained that they had my parts already so would still like to use Mr. Appliance, the company called Mr. Appliance and the women told them that no part was ever ordered. In other words she lied again.
Do not use Mr. Appliance of Stroudsburg. The office there is terrible, they lie about appointments, very unprofessional. The girl who answers the phone is horrible and I get no reply to my request to speak to the owner. I filed a complaint with my extended warranty company who uses them for my appliance warranty repairs.
This is a shame, because the repairman Joe, is very competent and very pleasant. I wish I could just get him to my house.
