Mountain Mutts Grooming

When I picked him up a few hours later, he had been completely shaved to his skin. I did not even recognize my puppy. They also implied that he had not been well cared for. They showed me the unclean cotton balls they had used to clean his ears. I felt harsh judgement. Their quote, and quot;Did you know his ears were this dirty?and quot; This experience was very negative overall. Paty, the owner, seems to have VERY strong opinions.
IF you elect to use their services, make very clear what you want...because communication skills were lacking in my experience.

They were recommended to me. They do a good job. They take good care of the animals while they are in there. They do a good job in grooming the animals. They look good. Their pricing is average. I would use them again in the future if needed to.

Nancy, the owner, was amazing. Our puppy is very challenging - 6 month old, rather hyper lab. She treated our puppy, considering she (Audrey, our puppy) wasn't really a very good candidate for daycare (needs more training and further socializing with other dogs), as if it were her own. She provided wonderful care while protecting the older, more stable and social dogs from Audrey's craziness. Audrey spent a week with Pocono Pups and, after more training, we look forward to bringing her back.
