When the ring was initially purchased (12/22/2014), Kay did not have the correct ring size.  We were told that was not a problem and that the ring could be exchanged after Christmas for the correct size.  When we took the ring back (12/26/2014) we were then told that there were two options: one, have the ring cut and re-sized and two, order a new ring in the correct size which could take up to 3 months. After discussing the options we decided to have a brand new ring ordered.  When we expressed this to the Manager, Robert Wills, we were told that if we ordered a new ring we would not get the 'sale' price and that it would cost $100.00 extra.  None of this was explained at the time of purchase, and, in fact, not until the 3rd time when we stated we would like to have a brand new ring ordered. Unfortunately, Mr Wills gave a lot of 'sales talk' with regard to company policies etc.but did not offer any solution to what was clearly their mistake.  I will definitely not purchase any more jewelry from Kay Jewelers in Stroud Mall, which is unfortunate because I have done so frequently in the past.
