As usual, Erin did a great job. She also recently painted all the cabinetry at my rental house, so I called her back to paint my closet doors. I only expected a single coat of primer/paint, but Erin is a stickler for quality. So, because she was dissatisfied with how the doors looked after just one coat, she voluntarily gave them a second coat. They came out beautifully. I'm again very satisfied with the quality and cost of her work.

Everything went very well and we are quite pleased with the outcome. It was a very labor-intensive project. Erin is very conscientious and meticulous. She insists upon high-quality work from her crew and is highly dedicated to customer satisfaction. She made valuable suggestions regarding paint color. She also was very considerate while dealing with the inevitable inconveniences for the tenants. She ensured that both bathrooms were not out of commission at the same time, and she ensured that the kitchen was at least partially usable each evening. Her entire crew tried very hard to protect the house interior while working in the kitchen and bathrooms. Erin is quite personable and easy to work with. If we need professional painting in the future, we will definitely use Agape Painting.

The work turned out really well - Erin is a perfectionist, which I appreciate! She went over every surface multiple times. There are three thin (in a good way, no clumps!) coats of paint on my cabinets and even now - after four months, plus our move into the property - they look great!

We recently referred Erin to my parents, who also just moved to Folsom, and they loved her work as well.

The only reason I'm not giving Erin and quot;Asand quot; across the board is because the project took longer than quoted (by several days). However, she did have to repair areas that our flooring company wrecked, which is out of her control. She also was extremely accommodating price wise - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or hire her again.

We used Erin because of her outstanding rating and felt she would do the best job for us. We had a color in mind to use and when Erin and Clak arrived, we went over some colors and Erin helped us decide on two colors to use for our rooms and hallway. She also went to the paint store and picked up all of the supplies she needed for the job. Erin was VERY particular about her painting quality and we could see that in her work right from the start. Erin and Clark came by everyday at the same time and if there were any changes, Erin would call and ask if that was o.k. She was always checking with us on the color or asking if we had any concerns she needed to address. They always kept the furniture and floors covered while they were painting and opened up windows and doors to make sure the smell wasn't too strong for us. We were so impressed with the work they did on our living room and dinning room, we asked Erin if they had time to do our hallway at the last minute and even with another job on her schedule, she took the time to do it for us. We were VERY impressed with her work and really enjoyed having them both here for the week. We WILL be using Agape Painting again and look forward to seeing Erin and Clark. Thanks Again Erin.

.I chose Agape Painting primarily based on the comments by customers on Angie's List. What particularly swayed me to go with Agape were the many reviews indicating how detailed and particular they were with their work.
Erin and Clark started work on 1/3/13 and completed the job on 1/9/13. They did a thorough job of prepping prior to painting including repairing several cracks in the walls or ceilings resulting from the house settling. They then primed theses areas prior to painting as well.
Erin was not only helpful in the process of selecting paint colors, she also was great in making suggestions as to where the different wall colors should go. In painting the built-in bookcase area, she suggested leaving the face of the bookcases white and painting the recessed back walls a darker accent color. I probably never would have thought of keeping the front of the shelves white and was happy that she did because it really came out great. She was also willing to test paint the wall above one side of the bookshelves to see if I wanted to keep that the same color as the rest of the room or to paint it the accent color instead. In regards to selecting color, Erin was patient as I considered several different accent colors and kitchen colors. She painted several test colors on the walls for me to review and consider over the weekend.
Overall, I'm very happy with the results. After a not-so-good job by another company on the exterior of my house this summer, I dreaded the process of hiring another painting company to do the interior. Agape Painting restored my faith that there are still people out there that care about the job that they do and take pride in their work. As Erin said at the outset (when I said another company told me that they could complete the job in 2 days), do you want it done quick or do you want it done right. Quality and paying attention to details does take time. (I still can't believe how she was able to paint right up to the edges of the kitchen cabinets --it's hard to tell the walls weren't that color originally.) The job took 5 days, but the results were well worth it. On top of it all, both Erin and Clark were very pleasant to work with. If you are looking for a painting company that cares enough to take the time do the job right as opposed to one that's just interested in getting the job done quickly so they can move on to the next--I highly recommend Agape Painting.

It is Thanksgiving weekend, and what do I have to be thankful for? How about beautifully painted kitchen cabinets courtesy of Erin and Clark These two are the best. First, they are so easy to work with. Erin is a great communicator, with a tender heart, and a terrific sense of humor. They were even great with my chocolate lab. Second, and possibly more important to you, they are METICULOUS! I never had to ask Erin to fix any paint issues because her standards are higher than my own. And they're MY cabinets! Erin believes in guaranteeing satisfaction, and she means it. Do yourself a favor: call Agape Painting, and you'll sleep well knowing top quality work is being performed.

Erin and her helper Clark (?) prepped, primed and painted a wall plus
floor to ceiling shelves in my living room that didn't match the rest of
the room (because I'd chosen the wrong colors when I painted it myself
five years ago). Erin was punctual, responsible, knowledgeable, and
easy to work with. She chose the new wall color and it turned out
great. She is a careful painter and does her prep well, has good
judgment, is flexible about working within the customer's framework, and
even tried to put me at ease (we've never had anyone do any painting
for us before--I'm used to doing it myself). Honestly, I've never had such a good experience with a contractor or handyperson. I'll absolutely have her do any future painting work we need. She's great!

Because the place was in such bad condition, the prep work took longer than anyone expected, I think. There were holes, patching, wallpaper to remove, trim to pull, doors to take off, plus all the masking and sheeting. I have never seen such thoroughness.
Erin is *intense* and wants to make things happen. I would use her company again whenever I wanted the job to be done just right.

I have really high ceilings and a spiral staircase, so the quote given was for the downstairs. For the service she provides, what she charges is a really great value. Whatever she doesn't have in paint samples, she will go and get. I don't know any other painter that does that. Her expertise made the process easier for me.

She's highly sought-after. You have to book well in advance for her! She is definitely worth it!

I had chosen a color for the kitchen and I didn't like it. She actually did it over. I gave a little extra, and she happily did it. She told me up front that part of her service would be that if I was not satisfied that she would do it over for a minimal fee.

Erin is awesome! I had her paint the inside of my house earlier in 2011 and knew then that she would be who I would have paint the outside. As always, she has awesome ideas for color. When she came for the estimate, she had a couple of color choice suggestions in hand - she painted several areas on the house with samples and after living with them for a couple of weeks and seeing them in different lights, I did choose one of her choices. I rely on her to help me choose a color because although I have a basic idea of what I want, I find it difficult to make a decision. She is willing to work around your schedules and she is always there when she says she will be. This time, she had a couple of other people helping her and Clark and I can see why she chose them! She is very picky about her employees! They power washed the whole house - then gave it time to dry - which was tricky because, of course, this was during rainy weather - then caulked all of the windows and doors, and wherever else needed to be caulked. She painted the whole outside of the house, including all of the trim, and the back door. The back door itself was a mess because it had rusted plus had several small windows with trim around all of them. Erin did a great job on the door and it looks amazing! She had suggestions for how to paint the trim on the back porch - I wasn't sure at first if I would like it but she promised that she would redo it, if I didn't like it - and I knew from past experience that she would definitely do that - and the end result was amazing. I love it. I had the roof replaced right after Erin was done with the house and ended up with parts around the eaves that needed repainting because the new gutters were a couple of inches smaller than the old ones - and Erin came back and repainted all of that. She does an amazing job - she's wonderful to talk to - she truly cares about the quality of her work. You will not be disappointed.

She was extremely thorough and did a detailed job. It was very helpful. She was knowledgable and professional. She is also prompt, timely, and efficient. It took her one day to paint the office but she took her time and also allowed time for the paint to dry.

I chose Agape Painting from the estimates I received because Erin seemed to be tuned in to my color tastes, even coming up with a radical (for me) fireplace idea before I could voice it. She took as much time as necessary to narrow down the color scheme and ease me beyond using one neutral color throughout (my original idea) into a lovely combination of shades and tones. They're just beautiful together, while still neutral enough to be able to change the decor easily in the future by just replacing rugs, curtains, furniture, and accessories. Best of all, it's not and quot;tract house beigeand quot;!!

Her attention to detail and perfectionism are a joy to watch, going far beyond skill into art. Just watching the precision and steady hand used to cut in around cabinets or trim was an awesome experience.

If you're in a hurry and just want a quicky all-one-color paint job, maybe Agape's not your best choice -- and it would be a waste of her time and talent besides. But if you want a beautiful job done with the same care and love (which is what agape means, I found out...) as if it were her own home, then choose Erin of Agape Painting.

Erin and her crew did a wonderful job. Ern is my go-to painter, and is wonderful at detail work and color selection. My garage probably didn't need such careful attention, but this paint job will last a long time and look great for a long time too.

Erin and her "Agape Angels" helpers did an outstanding job! Erin is a very detail oriented professional and her extremely high standards are evidenced in the impeccable quality and detail of the work that she does! EVERYONE in the congregation is so pleased with the results that we hired Erin for two follow-on interior painting projects, as already approved by the Trustees Committee! Currently she is in the process of completing project/contract number two, which is the complete repainting of the church's Social Hall. I will report on this second project at a later date.
