Quality of firewood in terms of seasoned and burning is fine
Not quite a cord. Perhaps 10-15% short of a cord. Similar to two prior purchases.
Supposed to be split but a lot of really big pieces. Had to resplit close to half of wood delivered. Some into 6 pieces.
About half of wood delivered was cut short - only 15 inches. This was a problem because firewood racks I have plus cart to bring wood inside requires 16 inches or more.
I suppose 15 inch length makes the stacked cord look larger than it really is. That would account for about 6% shortage.
His truck seems to be the right size for a loose stacked cord but only if it is really full, not just up to the top in the middle of the truck bed.
It seems that everyone around my area sells short cords and that is ok with the price and quality.
Unfortunately, I want my wood already split and I want a full 16 inch piece.

"Sorry [Member Name Removed] was not happy, most people need 16 inch wood to fit in there stoves there for we make the standard wood 15 to 16 inches long Custom sizes can be supplied. as for the amount of wood delivered Please look at the US forestery service web. site . On this site they explain how to stack wood to measure a (cord) Had [Member Name Removed] stacked the wood per there instructions he would found more than a cord was delivered. I am sorry the pc. size was to large for [Member Name Removed], NO wood leaves here needing to be split in to ^ pcs. Pc. size will vary...if your stove is very small and your need is small pcs. Please tell us when ordering so we can supply your needs. ....99.6% of our customers by again."

"Our records show we never delivered firewood to you. Sorry I think you mixed us up with some other company. Could be someone claiming to be us an they are not . This has happened a few times to us. There lot's of less than honest people selling firewood , They are bad news for every one."

They told me they were going to come on the 16th that they had to take care of poeple who needed wood for heat than all other calls they also provided me with two skides to pile my wood on top of

I'd had a couple problems getting good wood, and kept getting wet unseasoned wood to my house. So I called and the guy told me all the right things... hard wood, season at least 1 year, etc plus that they use a moisture meter to make sure the wood is dry. So I got a cord delivered and tried it out. Wood lights easily and seams to burn clean. Only negative would be that some of the pieces were not split very well.... half a log. But no big deal. Also, they will not stack the wood. I have two vacation rental houses and I'm not always there to stack it. So I can't use them very often.

We were a little uncertain at first, but the driver called and delivered the wood at 7:00 PM - he apologized for the delay. We were told he would deliver on New Year's Eve, but thought it was an error due to the holidays. We were very surprised that he came and delivered the wood and mentioned he had another load to deliver. We were very happy he did and impressed that he called to confirm.
It was good firewood and cut to fit our wood stove. We highly recommend Aand M and will use them again.

They asked if it was for heat, which it was not for. They said they were taking care of all heat related orders as many people still had power out. They called several days later and dropped off the wood. I am not sure if I was short changed in the past, but there was more wood than I ever recieved for a cord, and it was all quality wood, dry, and evenly cut. The driver was out of receipts when I asked him for one. He said he would mail one, and it showed up in the mail a couple days later. I was impressed.

He is very good, clean and does good work. This is the third time I bought wood from him and I have been using him for the last two years.
