S WIMMER PLUMBING REPAIR

I have use S. Wimmer and Son for any and every plumbing need since I have owned my home - now 25 years! They are always punctual, friendly, fair and honest, and helpful - explaining what is needed and what is not needed, and offering options. They are tidy and efficient, and clean up so well afterward that you would not know that any work had been needed. I trust them 100% and don't see a reason to ever call anyone else.

He had told me that the old water heater was about rusted through almost 2 years ago.  When it began to leak, I called Steve and he asked for guidance on size and price of unit. He brought exactly what I asked for and installed it quickly and cleaned up after the job! He also quickly diagnosed the problem as a need for a new faucet as the old one was over 25 years old. He had the new one installed by dinner time when my family was arriving home. Wonderful father-son team that really know their stuff and are completely reliable and fair.

Steve Wimmer and his son Casey are the greatest!  They arrive on time, dressed in pressed white work shirts.  Both are very professional in the way they do their work and in their relationship to the homeowner.  We have used S. Wimmer & Son Plumbing for many years as our only plumber that we call.  
One time the hot water went out when my husband was out of the country on a business trip.  Steve arrived the next morning, replaced the hot water tank, rebuilt the piping to the tank, etc.  A previous service call here, they installed a back-flow preventor as required by the city, and plumbed the area according the best way possible.  
They have rebuilt a Sears toilet (not a good bathroom fixture, by the way), replaced the kitchen faucet and hose, replaced three commodes with low water usage ones (and even cut the flooring to fit the new fixtures), and have generally replaced about every plumbing part in this 40 year old house.  I cannot say enough good things about S. Wimmer & Son Plumbing.  Their work is top notch.  And the best part is that there is no mess when they are finished.  They hauled away the old water heater, old commodes, and left not even a dirty fingerprint in any of our 5 bathrooms in our house.  Their work is A+++++!!

I am extremely impressed with these gentlemen. They were polite and professional and left the space cleaner than it was when they started. I highly recommend S. Wimmer and Son Plumbing! I will use them again.

On time and professional job

This is the second time I've used S. Wimmer and we have always had a great experience. They are a father and son team and are punctual, they communicate well, and they are happy to review the work they plan or have completed. We absolutely will use them again.

The Wimmers arrived promptly and presented with a very professional appearance, reminiscent of the Maytag repairman, and that is not meant as sarcasm. They quickly took the work requests and directly went about their tasks. They coordinated as needed, and gave all of their attention to the job. They did a great job explaining what they found and their solutions. They respectfully explained why the parts I provided were less appropriate for the application. They completed their work in just over an hour. Their fees were reasonable, given this is a "fee for service", contract arrangement and they must provide all of their own healthcare costs, retirement, social security, medicare costs individually, as well as for their business.
All in all, I highly recommend Wimmer plumbing. One must also expect there may be a wait until they can come to your house, since they are in great demand.
