The Midas guys did a nice job. They were fast and thorough and delivered at the promised time and price.

What I like most is they never find anything that isn't there. There are other garages in town that have told people they needed work done and they take it somewhere else and that wasn't really the case. They never tell me that I need more work done. They're reasonably priced. You can watch them doing the work right there. They do good work, Iand lsquo;ve never had a problem. For cars that don't require synthetic oil, they have a deal for tire rotation and oil change for $30 something.

The engine on our 1997 Corolla was running rough, and the "check engine" light came on. We were new in town and had never had a car repaired there, so we checked Angie's. Midas was the third number we called and the first to answer their phone on a Saturday afternoon. The customer service manager invited us to come in at 2:00, and they could run a diagnostic scan. The mechanics ran a scan, which was not completely conclusive. They thought that it might be a faulty O2 sensor but weren't sure. They definitely did not want to push us into a purchase, since they were not sure it would fix the problem. They did some manual checking then and felt more confident that the sensor was the problem. They made the repair within an hour and also tightened a loose pipe. These guys were businesslike but friendly -- very pleasant to do business with. They actually took about $35 off the original labor estimate, since they completed the job more quickly than they had anticipated. This was all on a Saturday afternoon, just before closing time. I waited until today to make my report here, since we had to drive a 400-mile trip in that car yesterday. No problems so far, so I am satisfied with the repair.
