We are a local small business serving the Centre County area. Houck Home Care and Cleaning has been in business for over 10 years. Our goal is to give clients the highest quality of care while remaining in an environment where they are comfortable. It is important to us that our clients are comfortable in their homes or facilities for as long as possible and with the care that they are receiving. That is why we try to match our clients with caregivers that meet their needs as well as their personalities. We treat every client differently as to their specific needs but the same as in the quality of care they receive. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with trained and caring staff that will tend to the physical and emotional needs of our clients. We understand for the highest quality of care that we are part of a team that works together with the other staff, doctors, nurses, as well as family and friends. We also provide commercial and residential cleaning. We do single service, monthly, weekly and bi-weekly services. We are flexible and try to meet the needs of our cleaning clients. If you have special requests we try our hardest to help you accomplish what you need done.

Dan and Becky have been taking care of my house for four years. We have two dogs and two kids and it's a lot of work. They consistently do a fantastic job. They are professional, courteous, honest and all around nice people whom I'm proud to call my friends. They do an excellent job every week and I recommend them to all my friends who need help taking care of their homes. In particular one quality I love about them is that they think of cleaning places that need to be done outside of weekly tasks. For instance, occasionally the fan blades need to be wiped down, and it all gets taken care of. They help me so much and I'm grateful for their hard work.

My instructions were not followed and the they team wasted time doing those things that were not needed instead of doing a decent job of what was requested. They also plugged one of my toilets and left without fixing it.

Great - everyone was very courteous and professional. They did a very thorough job, and they listened and did what I asked in the way I asked it to be done. Will definitely have these guys back. Not cheap but worth it - you get what you pay for.

All kitchen counters were tidy and clean. Carpets were vacuumed and the wood floors were wet mopped and clean. Shelves and other surfaces were dust free. Kitchen and bathroom granite counters were clean and spot-free. Toilet and shower were bright and clean. Overall the cleanup took 1 hour. The rooms looked and smelled fresh and clean.

I have used Houck for a while now and I am very happy with the quality of cleaning that I receive. Specifically, the team of Tabitha and Danielle is exceptional! Both ladies have wonderful, upbeat personalities and work hard to give me a great clean. They also are flexible and accommodating when I need a specific area to get extra attention.
Shirley Kaufman, the Office manager, is quick to respond when I call, which I appreciate.

They consistently do a wonderful job, and they are patient and kind with my little dog even though he barks at them when I'm not home (which is pretty often). Moreover they are positive, upbeat women who always bring a "good vibe" to my home.

Danielle and Tab arrive every week on time and ready to work. They are very thorough and whatever you ask of them they do it well. They are efficient and work very well together. All the wood floors are done on their hands and knees into every corner. I highly recommend this team. They are a pleasure to have in my home.
