Great! He did everything very professionally. He was punctual, dependable, and reliable. The way he re-caulked everything was meticulous and I appreciated the work very much. He was both proficient and efficient is his craftsmanship. I even called the main office after to let them know how satisfied I was with their work. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Rich did a very thorough and professional job. The wall reinforcement was not a standard procedure, and he had to get creative to find the appropriate solution. It worked out great! Everything was done in a timely and professional manner.

Two men came and were finished in about a half-hour.  They were very professional and did a good job.  They were 10 minutes late but sent us a text to let us know in advance which was much appreciated.

Took much longer than expected. We never knew when the workers would show up or not. They did a good job of painting and a fair job of caulking.

He came the day and time he promised despite bad weather.  He was very professional.

He was excellent. He also fixed my mailbox perfectly and made it 100 times better. He is friendly and accommodating. His craftsmanship is excellent. He charges $20.00 and hour and he works very fast; his prices are reasonable. I have been very satisfied with him.

Dave was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable.  He and his crew worked EXTREMELY HARD to repairs walls and paint garage and loft storage area before we moved in.  Also installed carpet in loft storage.  Installed bathroom fixtures (towel bars, etc); chandelier, ceiling fan, drapery rod, moved rolling shelf in kitchen cabinet.  Very respectful of our home.  Lined hardwood floors with dropcloths before coming in/out home.  Clean up was great.  I just was surprised at the final cost but  I did not understand just how bad the drywall and mudding job of builder was. 

Dave responded and promptly did an excellent job of replacing the vent cap.  He had the new cap with him and all necessary tools.  He was pleasant to work with and the cost was reasonable.

We really put 5 Star Handyman to the test after buying our house in May. Dave was amazingly generous with his time in walking us through the house and helping to identify issues that we might want to address other than those we had already identified. He was very honest, and great about clarifying what repairs were really needed and what was optional or merely aesthetic. He ended up doing a wide variety of work around the house before we moved in, ranging from interior and exterior painting, powerwashing, concrete sealing, improving drainage, rehanging crooked doors that wouldn't close, replacing drawer glides, rewrapping aluminum trim around exterior doors, extending downspouts via underground pipes, sealing bathroom tile and granite counters, replacing outlets and fixtures, building and installing shelving, light plumbing and electrical work, and about 20 other things. Dave even found a moisture problem behind a garage wall that we had no idea was there. He has extensive knowledge about a wide variety of home repairs, and has a network of similarly highly skilled professionals he calls upon as needed to help him out. He and everyone he brought with him did an excellent job. 5 Star works fast, the guys thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, and the prices were very fair. Dave?s attention to detail and responsiveness to phone calls was excellent. They have very high standards for their work and we were not disappointed by anything they did. I expect to be relying on 5 Star Handyman for years and have already recommended them to several neighbors and colleagues.

There were two guys that came out. They were very professional, detail oriented, and punctual. I had them clean out the spouts of the gutters, the water was not flowing through at all; after he cleaned it out, he poured water down and the water was flowing and clean. He also showed me a before and after picture. The other guy was cleaning the grass lighting fixtures and the vinyl banisters and post on the front porch, he did a wonderful job as well. It was getting later in the evening and we were ready eat dinner, they agreed to come back the next day and finish the other jobs. I am very pleased with their services thus far. I feel the price is very fair for the jobs they are doing and how well they are performing the services, it is only $35 an hour. I like that they are very personable and trustworthy. I have already recommended them to my neighbor.

UPDATE:

When he first came I wanted to find out if he does work by the hour or the job.  He informed me that it was by the hour, at $35/hr.  When he showed up to do the work he came with another person.  They both did great work, however, when he was writing out the invoice he said, ?I hope you understand that the $35 hour rate is per person. ?  I informed him that, no; I was under the impression that it was just $35 hour for the work.  He apologized for the misunderstanding and did give me a reduction in the rate.  I do think he needs to be a bit more upfront with this information before he begins the work though.

I was selling my house and discovered that my back door frame was wet. Called on a Monday and explained the situation and he fit me in on a Friday. He arrived Friday morning and was here working until 9:30 Friday night with spot lights.
He and another worker found the problem, removed the siding and gutters and fixed the problem the right way. I am confident that the next owner will not have a problem.

Dave performed EXCELLENT work in our home. I called him and explained the work we needed and he scheduled an appointment in a timely fashion. He came to our home and gave us an estimate for the work needed. He scheduled to return in a timely fashion. Dave came on the day scheduled and was very prompt. He prepared well for the work involved by placing drop clothes in the areas where he painted. He picked up all the supplies he needed from our local home store, was careful to get the best buy on the supplies, and presented receipts to show what he purchased. He was careful not to damage any walls or areas where he was working, and cleaned up all areas, and put away supplies, left over paint cans that he used that belonged to us such as ladders, etc. He cleaned up any marks on walls and other areas. He vacuums areas where there was residue of sawdust, etc., and left our home in extremely good order. Dave has a whole array of tools and equipment that he needed to do the work. I also offered him to use anything we had for his convienence. After Dave finished the work, he presented me with an invoice and he accepted my personal check. Dave has performed thousands of dollars of work over a period of about a year and a half and has installed plumbing, wood finishing work, has done tear out work, and is proficient with electrical work. He has remodeled two of our bathrooms - complete tear out and rebuilding. He is also an excellent painter. He also performed work with our outdoor courtyard by building fencing for our house pets. Dave is honest as the day is long! We never worried about personal belongings or valuables. He worked in our home many times while we were away. He also made excellent suggestions and accepted our ideas of what we wanted done. If he couldn't do a particular job, he was up front to tell us if he couldn't do the work. Most everything we asked, he was able to deliver. He is also quick work, gets the job done, and out the door. He is courteous, polite, and always shakes my husbands hand!
