Hired to build addition. Took my money and completely screwed me. Violated our contracted. Left work unfinished and violated fire codes. I had to fire him. Worst experience of my life. Beware.

I can not believe that he took me over the way he has. The bay window he put in my house was not even the one I wanted. I pointed out the exact window I wanted to him (my neighbors window across the street from my house) and told him 3 times that was the window I wanted.....that exact window.....I got a call a work from a neighbor telling me that Paul Gabriel dropped off my bay window on my front patio...I called him right away to confirm that he did and asked if they were going to install it and he said no...I told him a lot of children play outfront and ride their bikes across my patio...his answer to me was to tell their parents to keep their kids off my patio...when I came home from work the nightmare began...the window was not even the one I ordered....his answer was that it was custom made and that was the window I was getting...he said if you want a cheese burger you have to ask for cheese.I argued with him and he told me he called the manufacturer and ordered side windows simular to my neighbors to shut me up...he never did order them...the window sat on my patio for well over a week before it was installed....I called him concerned about it being out there in the rain and his arrogant answer to me was that it was a window and made for the weather....It is now Sept. 29 and I have sent Paul Gabriel a letter pretty much begging for my 7,000.00 deck deposit back and am waiting to see if he has a decent bone in his body and gives it to me. I can not believe I was so stupid and did not do my homework before hiring him.....I joined Angie's list to tell my story and keep anyone else from getting taken from this man.
