Hired a different contractor to install a new front door. They never completed the job even after several attempts calling them. Spoke to Wally. His guys came the next day and finished the work quickly, professionally and right. Should have used Wally in the first place.

Went with Manfredia's again! Ran into a problem with the garage roof an a major leak but Manfreida's came through with flying colors. After I put in my call the owner was out to do the estimate for me the same week an even did a little extra by taking down some mushrooms ( ewwww) that had been lurking where the leak had been particularly bad. In order to save my otherwise perfectly good, very full, garage they were even able to fit me into the schedule the following week to get the roof ripped off, re-decked and water tight before an upcoming storm. What a life saver! The crew that came out was very nice and worked swiftly, over all the job took less then three days to complete. They even replaced a small part on the back of the roof that had rotted and replaced all the trim sections with pvc so the carpenter bees wont be be making any more holes! Everything came out wonderfully I enjoy seeing it every time I pull into the driveway. I love working with Manfredia's and will DEFIANTLY be calling again for my next project. Thanks!!

Manfredia’s Carpentry and General Contracting did a terrific job, as always. They installed new gutters, gutters guards, and downspouts around the entire perimeter of our house. The rainwater flows much better off the house now, and we’ll never have to clean our gutters again. Wally and everyone who works for him is talented, thorough, and a pleasure to have around.

Went very well. This is the second project that Wally completed for me. Work was top shelf and the finished job was beautiful. Wally worked with me on selection of the ship lap and provided a number of options.

Wally impressed us right away because of how thorough his free estimate was; he had measured everything exactly, and was very specific in his recommendations, and the cost. He respected us and our smaller space, although he had much larger projects. He is a good communicator, and was tolerant when we changed our minds. He provided a list of stores nearby to find samples, choose granite, vanities, etc. Wally was skilled in getting permits and everything went smoothly. He followed the rules set by our condo management company. When the manager allowed only 3 hours of "water off", he enlisted 4 plumbers to scramble and get it done in that time! If a problem arose he communicated right away. He did more than specified, out of his generous good will. For instance, he sent his painter when we'd agreed to paint ourselves. Most of the job was finished before the Covid stay-in-place hit. When we had dishwasher problem during that time, he sent his plumber over to fix it. Soon after he was able to return, Wally came back and completed the few things remaining. Wally's men were friendly and competent and spoke well of him; Wally usually arrived with them and made sure everything was in order. Because Wally is in demand, he may not begin right away after the agreement is signed. It is good to ask an approximate date of beginning. In summary, we were very pleased with the work done on the bathrooms and kitchen. Wally is experienced, honest and dependable - an excellent communicator, & an expert in his field.

Our new fence looks terrific. Very professional workmanship, The fence was placed exactly as we pictured it would look like. We received great advice from Mr. Manfredia as to placement of the fence to obtain the best results, Mr. Manfredia also advised us regarding landscaping which he provided and further enhanced the beauty of our fence. Mr. Manfredia is very professional in communicating, completing projects and having detailed invoices.

Wally and his team were immediately available and knocked this project out in a matter of hours. They installed a beautiful dog-eared shadowboxed fence, which ended up being 32 feet long, and gave both myself and my neighbor the privacy we were looking for. We could not be happier with the results! Wally and his team are always professional and friendly, and I would recommend them to anyone.

After I had Manfredia's come out last year to complete my roof, I decided to have my windows done as they looked so shabby next to my beautiful new shingles. The job got off to a slow start as mother nature was just not cooperating weather wise but Manfredia's always kept in contact with me about rescheduling the work. We finally hit a good stretch of weather and they were out promptly. It was a little colder then I would have preferred if I was the one working outside but gentleman that completed the work never complained, always had a smile and a kind word when updating me on his progress. The worker even stayed late into the evening one day to make up for some lost time due to an extra windy day. The job was completed in a little under a week and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results! Everything looked great and so much nicer, thanks to Manfredia's it catches my eye every time I walk outside. Thanks guys!!!

The job went very well. Wally and his crew removed and resigned cabinets and countertops. New flooring was installed. Granite countertop were installed by one of Wally's subcontractors with his oversight.

Overall It went well! With only a minor delay with 1 cabinet door with a scratch which the door needed to be reordered. The finish product came out Great!

Everything went beautifully with our sump pump installation, the new shutters, and the lamp post. Wally and his assistant are professional, thorough, hardworking, and punctual. We would definitely call Wally again. He and his team have the capability to do a variety of work. They just so happen to be “water in basement experts,” which is how we found them. The sump pump was our overwhelming need; we asked Wally to replace some outdoor shutters and fix our lamp post when he was here examining our basement before giving us a sump pump estimate. He completed all three jobs with his assistant over two days.

The project involved extensive repair of two decks, interior painting and baseboard replacement, installation of an interior window and door frame and some minor plumbing. During work in a bathroom a leak into the ceiling was traced to a defective dishwasher above. Repairing the damage and removing the mold was an extensive project. Wally and his crew did this with efficiency and care. Overall the work was of very high quality and was done professionally and carefully. I would hire them again without hesitation.

A few delays with inspections and some defective supplies that took them to replace, but Wally handled it professionally and was always very responsive. We’re extremely happy with the results and will definitely recommend him to friends and family.

I have consistently sought the services of Manfredia Carpentry and have recommended them to my friends and neighbors in the Havertown area. Their work is always thorough, professional and garners fulsome praise from those who visit my home. Wally Manfredia has an excellent and responsive group of subcontractors for each particular specialty. He is always available by text or phone and will often perform same-day requests. He stands by his work and in fact guarantees it. I have needed mior repairs to such things as painting or cabinetry over the years which he has done and continues to do without additional charge. You can be certain that the work will ultimately be done to your satisfaction and to specifications. The company is also well known in the township and has never had any issues with obtaining necessary permits or variances. I recommend them highly, particularly as I have heard of others using different contractors who have not experienced the degree of professionalism I get from Manfredia. Everyone at Manfredia I interacted with was friendly and responsive. Wally Manfredia had the experience and knowledge to deal with a variety of our repairs in multiple rooms, and most importantly for us, was able to work closely with our insurance adjuster. He helped to secure a fair price for repairs and was willing to meet and discuss issues with our insurance company. He kept us informed and above all listened and addressed our needs. Wally was able to deal with all aspects of our repair from ceilings to electrical to bathroom and floorings. Overall, it was a big relief to have Wally working with us and we are glad we called Manfredia's Carpentry and Generall Contracting.

Manfredia's just recently completed my roof and I could not be more pleased. From start the finish they were there to answer my questions and made sure I had all my options to choose from. The job started promptly and I am pleased to say it did not take long! The roofers were great, very courteous and made sure to move anything that could get damaged while they were tearing off the old roof which I really appreciated. The whole process was very smooth and looks fanatic! I love coming home to see my new roof, thanks for everything!

This is the first time I've ever dealt with any type of professional remodel. I had trouble even finding someone to do the job. Since it wasn't exactly a large project, either no one would return my call, or they wanted to charge way more than it was worth. That's when I decided to look through Angie's list and I found Manfredia's Carpentry & General Contracting. They contacted me almost immediately and set up a date to do an estimate. Wally and his team were great to work with -- professional, courteous, and respectful of our home. Excellent communication throughout the process. Everything was done within the timeframe he estimated, as well as within budget. Wally is very knowledgable and quickly gained our trust. He answered all of our questions and gave us great advice. I couldn't be happier with the result. Our kitchen looks so much better and it will definitely add value to our home. I'm very pleased with the experience and I would absolutely want Wally to do any future home improvement projects.

Beautiful, cannot see where repairs were made. Very good job. I am well pleased as I have been with other work done for me by this Contractor. Several coats of plaster applied and sanded after drying. Painted and cannot tell where the repairs were done.

Wally Manfredia did first-class work -- so much so that friends and neighbors comment on how beautiful and well-done the renovation was. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about all facets of construction and renovation, and wants to do things right. He was able to present us with ideas and solutions we had not thought of, and options for saving money. And he stayed with us to the end when all manner of unexpected problems arose with everything from water infiltration to uneven joists, and completed a job that was much more complex and time-consuming that he had bargained for. He even came back to finish final items on the punch list after he had received complete payment. Topping it off, Wally is a good-natured and good guy -- important since living in a home through a top-to-bottom renovation is very stressful.
