JumpStart Organizing has been in business since 2006 & is a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers). When you feel overwhelmed, we are the ones to call and help you with your organizing challenges. We help organize your home, your move, your photos, your life! In order for a space to be organized the homeowner needs to be involved. Part of organizing is sorting and discarding, so the remaining space fits everything and there is room for future items to fit into the organized space. We have a passion for what we do and we work with you to get your project under control. We can work "one on one" with you or we can offer a "team approach" for quicker results. JumpStart Organizing works in the 5 counties surrounding Philadelphia, Wilmington, DE area and also parts of NJ (just over the bridge).

Donna Jumper is a true professional. She's organized and downsized for 10 years with a consistent "A" rating. She's also a member of the National Association of Profession Organizers. The process went beautifully. Each session was a 3 hour workout, at my own pace. There were 2 types of garbage bags to fill: Trash and Donations. At the end of every session, all the trash was taken to the apartment dumpsters, and the donations taken away. We also had a donation closet in which some items remained; and I could reconsider whether I was ready to let go of those items. As we went along, Donna put the things, I wanted to keep, back in the closets and drawers, in common sense order. Thank you for your wonderful and much appreciated help!

I purchased 3 hours of home organization for a gift for my mom. The feedback from my mom was wonderful. She felt Donna was very helpful and the time was well spent. My mom has mentioned she will reach out to Donna again in the future to further help her.

It was okay. She kept changing the schedule of when she would be available. There's a calendar in the Angie's List website where we can request the date. Because it doesn't show when she's busy, I requested 3 days. She called me and told me she was basically booked except for an evening. She came that night but not until it was 6:30 and we're just not going to stay up all night to do this. She circled around with me three different times to get out here but she could never make it work when I was here and my wife was here. When she came, she organized the wrong stuff and put it in the wrong places. I wouldn't use her again. She showed up at the house without letting us know she'd be there. She just kind of gave us a warning that she could be early. I had no way of knowing what was going on. I was at work when I can't bring my phone because of the type of facility I work in. She was halfway doing what she was doing when I showed on the premises. I ended up spending $100 to put my stuff in the wrong place.

Donna helped my tackle our unfinished, cluttered nursery. We organized the closet and rearranged the room to give the space a nice flow. She also made great suggestions for how to best maximize the extra closet space on the nursery. With the time we had remaining, Donna pointed out ways to make our kitchen with limited counter space look much more organized. We now have more room to prep, and maneuver. Overall it was a very helpful session. There was no time wasted!

The job went very well. We accomplished a bit more than I thought we would.  I wish the price would have been a little lower but Donna and Christine completely met my expectations.  I would recommend their business and I will use them again if I need them.  I truly appreciate their hard work and them helping me get a big start on cleaning out and organizing my basement.

This was my first experience with a professional organizer and i was quite i impressed. I work and have family committements and that limits my time and energy for getting and keeping organized.,i have a nice home , two grown children that are in and out with school and work and a husband . I decided on my home needs and she assisted me with my kitchen, laundryroom and my master closet. Three hours made a huge dent in areas that have been driving me crazy. I have more to do but this was a great start. I enjoy the rooms and closets every time i see them. Judy had some great ideas for repurposing what i had to make it more useful and effective,i had been out shopping the week before for a narrow cart for the laurndry room,, cost would be about $ 30. She was able to see some of what i had and repurpose it.the cart which i was replacing uhad broken wheels and she suggested removing the wheels and using as a shoe rack at the entrance..it was perfect and saved me money. The laundry closet is now so organized and i know what i have , who knew i was overbuying as i didnt know what was in there! She gave me simple , no cost suggestions for staying organized. We organized several kitchen cabinets that make the morning smoother and dinner easier as my cups and serving platters are easy to find. What a difference to my master closet. I love what we did. Judy works with you , going through stuff considering its usefulness and and asking the tough questions. She was in the midst of my dusty , overcrowded closets cleaning and wiping and rearranging . She is pleasant and non judgemental with the clutter we collect . She doesnt just tell you what needs to be done, she works with you side by side showing you and making improvements . It was a great experience .,i have recommended her services to friends.

Donna is very professional and great at staying on task. She helped me decide how my dining room could function better, even down to furniture placement. Once she saw I had a handle on the dining room, she helped me out in the kitchen as well. She is great at finding ways to maximize the space you have.

"Thank you for your review, I appreciate it. Sometimes a space can be organized in 3 hours, but other times, it will take more time to complete that project. Purchasing a “big deal” with a set amount of hours, 3 in this case, does not guarantee that a closet can be organized in 3 hours. In order for a space to be organized the person needs to be involved. A huge walk-in closet does take time. Going through items and making decisions can be daunting and time consuming. Part of organizing is sorting and discarding, so the remaining space fits everything and there is room for future items to fit into the organized space. When I arrived the first time for our appointment I was told that this was not a good time, so I rescheduled to return at a later date. After our “3 hour” appointment was finished, I suggested that I would return in a few hours that same day, to help finish up the closet project. Thank you for working with me as we “jumpstarted” organizing your closet."
