He was excellent. We were really pleased with him. He was very thorough. The estimate was exactly what he told us it would be. He was very timely and he was very professional and courteous. The work was very good. The prices were very reasonable compared to some other estimates that we had.

Great guy, great work, great price.

I contacted Gary about a problem I had in basement. The previous owners had used a glue hold down the carpet in the finished basement. Well, we got into the basement and it had to be and quot;unfinishedand quot; in order to deal with it properly. I was able to do most of the unfinishing myself but removing that floor glue was almost impossible for me. So I called the professional, Gary. Honestly, I felt terrible giving him this job. The small amount that completely almost drove me insane. But Gary came with the right tools for the job and soldiered through it. He also installed a handrail and replaced a cracked step on the basement staircase. I plan to have him come back to do some more basement work. BTW, don't let the price fool you - assuming you think it's high. This would normally be less to simply clean and paint a basement but removal of that glue was very labor intensive.

Fantastic. We told Gary that we wanted to keep the costs down, and he recognized that the playhouse would probably only last a few more years, so he bought materials that enabled him to keep his labor costs down. We ended up coming in under budget thanks to Gary's quick thinking. He also approximated how many more years use we would get out of it before having to replace the set.

I like his craftsmanship; it was very good. He had a unique passion for safety around smoke detectors and carbon monoxide. It was not brought out as what I was looking for but it was pointed out while he was at the house so I appreciate it. I thought his price was very fair and I will use him again in the future.

Treated the job as a priority and made the handrails more secure than normal...truly an exceptional job, so good we gave him a substantial tip (not included in the amount noted above). That price includes approximately $90 in materials...his labor cost was just $25/hour for a five-hour job.

It was a small job, but he did what he said that he would do. He was courteous and prompt.

Their pricing was reasonable and fair. They were prompt, quick, efficient and punctual.

He is a retired teacher. He was very slow as he did the job all by himself. He was a superb painter and he did an outstanding job. He was clean and his pricing was reasonable. He communicated well and at times when he was late, he kept me informed. I was satisfied with his service.

I called Gary initially after seeing another review on Angie's list. He came and met with me for over an hour, creating a list of items to be completed. Throughout his time working with me, he went back to the list regularly to make sure that everything was being completed to my satisfaction. He was also fine with me adding/changing items as the job progressed. Gary works alone, and charges on an hourly basis. I found him to be very responsible and trustworthy. I was completely comfortable having him at my home when I was not there. He would always let me know when he was coming, and did his best to get the job done as quickly as possible. He was responsive to my concerns. He gave suggestions when I asked for them. I will definitely use his services again.

He came on time and was nice. He cleaned up and was a gentleman.

Gary did a great job. He was accommodating with his schedule and kept us informed of how everything was going. He was very upfront about offering different ways to do the work that might save time and checking on exactly what we wanted him to do. He's very trustworthy and a good guy to have around your house.

GARY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB PAINTING MY LIVING ROOM. THE WALLS WERE STRIPPED OF WALLPAPER AND HE DID SOME REPAIR ON THEM AS WELL. HE ALSO ADDED A CHAIR GUARD IN MY DINING ROOM THAT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. HE IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL WORKER AND OBVIOUSLY TAKES PRIDE IN WHAT HE IS DOING.
