AMAZING. The team from Fiber Clean was efficient, professional and always on time. The work they did was amazing. We cam home to beautifully finished floors and a clean house. There was barely a speck of dust in the house. Amazing, considering they sanded down the whole upstairs and 3 rooms in the first floor. Attention to detail amazing. Very well priced. If you need hardwoods done, call them they are really the best. I have used them for air duct cleaning as well and had the same excellent service.

Called when lost (we are hard to find). Explained what he was going to do and proceeded to do it.

The actual cleaning appointment went fine, the tech arrived on time, explained what he would do and did it. He did his bit to cross-sell, which I get as a business owner, but I simply wanted what I had scheduled. Not a big fan of the hard sell. The basement did end up being added, as my husband wanted this area cleaned.
About 2-3 days after the cleaning I noticed a bad smell in the hallway area. After another day or two I determined it was emanating from the carpet on the stairs and 2nd floor hallway carpet. It was a smell best described as "sour" and "moldy" (not pleasant).
I contacted the company, and the same tech came out right away and re-cleaned the carpet. Smelled good when he left. I thought perhaps the carpet did not fully dry the 1st time, so I placed a fan to dry the carpet for the entire day after the 2nd cleaning was completed. Also, I was told by the tech that in all his years of cleaning, this had never happened before.
About 2-3 days later the smell was back. Called company again and asked for a different tech. New tech came and re-cleaned with a different cleaning material. REALLY soaked the carpet. Again, I used the fan to dry. This tech was questioning the cause of the smell and was intimating that somehow MY dogs were relieving themselves on the carpet....on the stairs. I found this beyond a stretch. Especially since there was absolutely no odor or issue BEFORE the carpet had been cleaned.
About 2-3 days later, the smell was back. I didn't want to deal with the company coming back anymore, so I took it upon myself to spend 3 hours on a Friday afternoon to thoroughly clean the carpet and remove every last drop of moisture out of it so that it was as dry as could be. Didn't work - the smell was still there. My husband finally removed the stairs carpet and there was black spots all over most of the back of it. Looked like mold to me.
Called the company to request that carpet be replaced. Was told the owner was out of town and I had to wait several days for a call back from the owner. Guess his phone does not work unless he is in PA. Finally, the owner came to look at the removed carpet, I was told that the spots were NOT mold - but it was never discussed what it was. Sure, I get it, no one wants to address MOLD. I just wanted the problem dealt with and the owner did say he would "make it right" no matter what, anyway. So fine. We look at the stairs and discuss and come to the agreement that the company will refinish the hard wood flooring (because they do that too) instead of putting new carpet down. We make arrangements. The days comes, and a tech comes to prepare the stairs and hallway. Tech is starting to cover all the areas around it and it dawns on me that we won't have access to our upstairs for days. This was never brought up or discussed and was not workable. No access to my bedroom, bathrooms, for days? And with two dogs? I had made no arrangements and I certainly was not going to incur the cost of a hotel to have this problem rectified. Refinishing was put on hold and the tech left. At this point, we were considering having the refinishing done when we were away for a week on vacation.
Time passes and we are walking up and down our stairs and come to the conclusion we don't want the refinished, and we just want to put carpet back. I call the company and ask for a refund. My interpretation of my phone call to the company was that I would receive a call back. Instead, in a few days I get a check for $108.00. The part that was portioned the stairs only. Seriously?! The check is going back, as it is just not sufficient for the damage caused and the incredible inconvenience. $108 is an insult and the company is lucky it is not being asked to pay to fully replace the damaged and removed carpet (which the owner took with him for "training" purposes). I would like a complete and full refund from this company asap.

I was very happy with the service from Fiber Clean! It was easy to set up an appointment, and the cleaners arrived right on time. My ivory sofa was very dirty because our golden retriever would use it to scratch herself. I thought it was beyond hope but decided to try anyway. I was amazed at the difference! The sofa is fifteen years old and it now looks like new. I also had two oriental carpets, in the living room and the dining room, cleaned; as well as the dining room chairs. I felt the representatives from Fiber Clean were professional, polite, and did a great job. I would use them again.

It was fine. They did a decent job on cleaning the bed. It was totally clean and they seem to know what they are doing. They treat us well though the price was a little higher than what we expected. They were here, did a good job and was on time.

Matt arrived promptly at 9am and worked steadily for three hours cleaning our 15x27 family room, stairs and upstairs hall. None of the areas had been cleaned in a long time. The stairs and hall (cream colored)look great. We were considering replacing the family room carpet (beige nylon 30 years old), but decided to give Fiber Clean a chance to "restore" it. The carpet definitely looks better and we will keep it a few more years. We were pleased with Fiber Clean's service and will use them again. Note: The Fiber Clean technician works alone. Sofas and chair were moved and carpet cleaned underneath. A large heavy bookcase was cleaned around and not moved at our request. We felt it was too heavy for one person to attempt to move.

The technicians that show up to my home are well dressed, punctual and clean. They take their time and explain to me what the cost will be and what needs to be done. They carefully moved all furniture and replaced it when they were finished. I have used Fiber Clean since 2003 on a yearly basis. Denis McDonald, The Owner is a class act who truly cares about each and every customer and the quality of his company's work. On all levels, start to finish, they are a pleasure to deal with.

They are very courteous professional and great at what they do. They get stains out that I wouldn't think could be cleaned. They even were able to remove wine stains.

I was very pleased with Fiber Clean. They were very prompt, very professional and did a good job. They even sent a nice thank you letter after they went and you don't get many of those. They were very neat and clean. They didn't disrupt things too much and seemed to take care of the furniture's. The man who came out was very polite.

Our family room carpet had not been cleaned in a long time, and we had a large dog, so the carpet was REALLY dirty. Frank came from Fiber Clean and spent almost two hours cleaning the carpet! He did a fantastic job, got rid of ALL the dirt. They are pricey, but you get your money's worth.

My experience with Fiber Clean's service was less than satisfying. Although the cleaning itself on June 9th went reasonably well (the contractor's speed/efficiency left something to be desired), what I discovered a week later was quite upsetting. The contractor neglected to remove the existing filter in order to clean the main duct near the HVAC fan motor. The reason for this was because the existing disposable filter was stuck, and rather than work to remove it, he simply left it untouched. I didn't discover this until the new permanent filter, which Fiber Clean provides as part of its service, arrived in the mail on June 18. The contractor didn't have one in his truck—itself odd for a regulation-sized filter. When I went to install the new filter and couldn’t remove the old one, I had to open the main panel to the fan motor and pull the filter out from there. Once that was removed, I discovered that the duct was filthy. I spent a good 30 minutes cleaning the duct myself, or at least as much of it as I could reach, since working around the sharp metal edges was difficult and dangerous. I chose to do this instead of waiting for someone from Fiber Clean because I was having my house renovated and had a very tight schedule with many deadlines ahead of me. I called Fiber Clean early the following week (of June 21st) and spoke with a very pleasant receptionist, who couldn’t have been more gracious in her apologies. I asked whether it would be possible to send another agent out to check the duct, since I wasn’t sure how well I’d been able to capture all the dirt. I was told that the man who could arrange for this was apparently on vacation and was assured that he would call me back as soon as he returned the following week. I never received a call—no messages on my answering machine, and no listing of Fiber Clean’s phone number on my caller ID. Then, in late August, I received a courtesy letter from the company's president, thanking me for my business and inviting me to comment on my experience, stating that he was determined "never to commit the error so often practiced by many companies today -- the error of sacrificing personal contact in the name of growth," and that the "pre-addressed envelope will carry your comments directly to my *personal* attention." On August 24, I sent Mr. McDonald a reply, the gist of which is contained in the first three paragraphs above. It has now been 5 months since I sent that letter. I have never received a reply.

We’ve used them for 20 years and they are wonderful. We wouldn't ever use anybody else. It has allowed us to keep our carpeting for 20 years. I forgot that they also do air duct cleaning and I had another company do that. I think that I will use them in the future for air ducts. The people are very service oriented and conscientious. They are also thorough and really go over everything with you before and after.
