September 2023, Hired to re-rout a dryer vent and drywall over a popcorn ceiling. Dryer vent was fine, completed quickly. The ceiling drywall was installed properly, but the workers hacked the spackling. Lou accepted responsibility - said they used a dry mix and that it should have been pre mixed. He thanked me for my patience and said he would fix it personally. He returned twice, fixed a couple of problems on the walls, but never touched the ceiling. When I told him that I was out of patience and not satisfied, he ghosted me. I wish I could upload the pics. They never covered my floors, instead they mopped at the end of the day. The dried joint compound dust was caked into every seam of my hardwood floors, which had to be removed by hand. I hired someone else who had to re-do the entire spackle job- they said "This is what we call a hack-job." . The hardest part is that I trusted Lou as a man of his word and he took off when he decided that his foul-up was going to cost him too much money.

He is great to work with. He shows up on time and does what he says he will. When he gives his estimate it is accurate and explains things well.
