Josh was fantastic. I hired Josh twice on two separate inspections. He was able to schedule me within a few days of reaching out to him. He was very professional and very thorough, taking time to explain everything he was looking for and anything that he found of concern. He saved me approximately 50 thousand dollars worth or necessary work, which would have been needed to make the property livable. I would definitely recommend his company to any perspective home buyer.

Josh arrived not only on time but early and did a thorough, professional inspection of the 100-year-old home we were considering buying. He was honest and laid out the facts (the good, the bad, the ugly) of exactly what he saw. No sugar-coating and no pulling punches either. I got the distinct feeling that he was working for us and that his goal was to give us the unbiased information we needed to make a decision on the house. He returned phone calls, did everything he said he was going to do, and spent lots of time explaining results to us. His written report was just right, too... to the point with supporting photographs but not "padded" with extraneous or generic information. A lot of people are reluctant to spend money on inspectors and especially on extra tests, but this was money well spent for us. In our case, the mold test came back very high, which was a deal-killer. We were glad we invested in an inspection and were completely satisfied with Josh's service. We'll hire him again.

Josh is an extraordinary inspector. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He doesn’t miss a thing and he’s worth every penny!

There was some miscommunication on the time/date to meet. Initially I was sent information for a wholly-unrelated customer - which also occurred while I was on vacation. After that confusion was cleared up, the inspection went very well. The inspector was professional, courteous, and took a huge amount of time to walk through the home and point out a large list of items that the home had as issues. Despite my good review, it was frustrating trying to figure out the flurry of incorrect e-mails while on vacation. I would advise the business person to focus on one task at a time (understanding that things like this are occurring in automobiles while at inspection sites, etc.) so this kind of confusion does not occur in the future.

I had to get a home inspection for a home I was looking to purchase. Josh was on time and very thorough. He answered all of my questions, and I had many (and so did my dad)! I highly recommend him!

I would say his price is probably average, so an A. For responsiveness a B. He kept changing the time on us. I don't wanna smack him too hard for it, but it was a pain. On punctuality, that's a tricky one because he changed the time to an earlier time and showed up before we even knew that he was gonna be there, so I guess he's punctual and I guess we'll give him an A.

Josh was very kind and offered prompt service and reporting. He was very thorough and addressed any concerns we had. They also offered a discount since my husband works for UPMC.

Very professional. Responded quickly after being contacted. Performed a very through inspection of our home and provided us with pictures and details. Explained what was found and gave very helpful suggestions on items that needed repaired. Received the report the very next day. Very pleased with the inspection and the whole process.

Joshua Linder inspected all required spaces and took photographs of all of the possible defects that he found.  He did not inspect the roof because it was snow covered but he offered to come back on another day when he could access the roof.  I did not insist that  he do so because my roof is well beyond its guarantee and I plan to replace it.

Mr. Linder examined and tested items as stated in the contract. I wanted the inspection for the purposes of safety, suggestions for improvement, and for future planning. This was not intended to be a pre-sale action. He even did some extra work for me.

Josh arrived before we did and was already inspecting the roof and gutters.  Very professional, took tons of photos, explained everything, and went above and beyond spending time to look at every nook.  Very pleased with his report and knowledge of homes.  Would highly recommend!  We'll definitely be using again, and recommending to friends.  Thanks Josh!

The home inspection went well. He reviewed the exterior, roof, all interior rooms, electrical, plumbing, and more. I also appreciate the comprehensive report associated with the inspection, which include photos of problem areas.
