SpringHouse Window & Door

The quality of the beautiful windows and doors we bought from Springhouse Window and Door is extremely high. We are very pleased with the fiberglass windows and French doors, as well as the gorgeous ThermaTru front door. Brian Finley, the owner, was very patient, knowledgeable, and understanding as we worked through the decision-making process. Harry, Zack, and Tim did an outstanding job with the installation. They were professional, courteous, on time, efficient, cared about the work, and they cleaned up well. They also did a great job capping and sealing the windows, giving them a modern, up-to-date look. I would definitely use Springhouse Window and Door again and highly recommend them.

We ordered a custom door and had a few other projects priced out but after the experience we had, we will not be using them again. The staff seems to be short tempered with little time to answer questions, and on the last visit, Mike was so condescending to the point that even he realized it and apologized when I called him out on it. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a woman and he assumes I know nothing or if that's just his general demeanor. There are plenty of other distributors of ThermaTru doors and Marvin window products in the area, recommend going to one of those who treat their clients with respect.

Jack came out to look at the "problems". It turns out that he was the person in charge of the installation of one of the sets of windows plus the front door many years ago. He inspected the one set of windows for air leaks and said that they were in great condition. He determined that the other set of windows were also in wonderful condition. The water was condensation and was coming from inside the house not outside. It's great to know that there are companies who care more about their clients than their wallets.

Called for a new storm door estimate. They came out the next day and had me a quote a few days later. It took a while for the door to come in (which they told me beforehand) but when they called to schedule the install they were able to come the next day while I was at work. The installer put in the new door and even corrected the problems of a bad install job on the old door (re-drilled holes so door would hang level, added the bottom door closer when there wasn't one previously and fixed the latching area). The new door looks and works great.

It was a very good experience overall.  It was nice having the owner come out to measure and discuss the options.  Walt, from the Malvern location, is friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and pleasant to do business with.  He and Jackie are honest and get things done quickly.  We are happy with how the installation went and so far we're happy with the windows too!

 They did such a good job!  They replaced my door and in the process discovered a problem with wood rot below the door due to poor water drainage.  We had no idea and the installer took extra time in fixing the problem like it was his own residence.  We really appreciated his knowledge and expertise. We feel that it was money well spent and we will continue using Springhouse Windows and Doors in the future.

The product is fantastic. We've had it for two years and we still love it.

Job was done to our satisfaction. Price was less than half of what I was quoted elsewhere. Great door. Great service. Great company.

They were great and very thorough.  They helped me select the door that would be best for the space. 

My experience was excellent throughout .. They came to do the estimate on time and returned the price promptly. When the door came in they called me to schedule the installation and arrived on time that day . there were unexpected problems they found when they removed the old door.  They fixed the issues and continued the job.. They completed the work with no change in cost and left the work area clean .
The next day they called to make sure I was satisfied with the work .
This is the 2nd door I have had installed by Springhouse Window and Door. I would highly recommend them.

I went to the store in Spring House and showed them a picture of my damaged door, which I wanted to be replaced. I told them I need exactly the same door. It is a 27$ door when you buy it at Home Depot but since I am not handy, I needed service to drill the holes. Although I had the exact measurement, they sent someone to my house to measure again. After this I haven't heard back from them. I had to call. We made an installment appointment and they brought the wrong door. They ordered again and I haven´t heard from them again until I called. I was running out of time since my lease contract ended. They new this fact. We made the next appointment and they installed the door. When I took a look I saw that the door came unpainted! I was so disappointed. I paid $ 189 to get a simple $ 27 hollow door and they deliver it unpainted without telling me before? I had to paint the door by myself. I think they could have told me in advance that they obviously deliver and install unpainted doors.

It went great. Very detail oriented. Corrected rot of the rim joist in the area where the door is being installed because the builder did not weather seal the rim joist, threshold, etc. A top quality installation job with the owner coming on site to check progress and see the rotten rim joist was being properly remediated.

For the most part everything worked okay with the following exceptions:
1.  The peep hole in the door was located higher than my wife can see.  This was corrected with relocating the peep hole and filling the old holes in with Bondex and re-painting.  I still have to add a second coat.

1. 2.  Patch job done where the door bolt slides into the jamb.  Corrected
2. 3.  Paint coming off of one of the sidelights.

Both issues were fixed quickly and with excellent work.  Service technician was named Casey, and we could not be happier with his work and attitude.  We highly recommend Springhouse!

They did a great job with both the windows and door.  Was happy with the products and the work.  They have done warranty work on both the windows and the door, so they stand behind their warranty.  Would definitely choose them again.

I needed new storm doors to replace broken ones and also a new front door. Salesman was prompt and brought catalogs for me to order from. Work had to coincide with the siding replacement so I had to delay work until the end of August. When the new storm doors were put in, the plastic latches made to hold the screens in place broke. They had to come out and replace all of these latches. They had to come out a second time because I had three affected storm doors and they only fixed two.

Their quote was $500 less that the other quote I received. There was no pressure. No calling back and forth. He came, measured the window, and told me what I needed. He sent me a proposal and never called to harass me with it. The price included the capping which is why it was less.
