Accommodating, punctual, pleasant to work with. A little expensive, but this is a small owner-operated business so I don't mind spending a little more for the personalized service. Also, he squeezed me in to his schedule, so that was worth something to me. I would use him again for more significant issues if they arise.

Bob is very skilled at diagnosis and squeaky clean honest. If he says you need work, you need it, and he'll scope only the degree you need. You save more by avoiding unnecessary work than you spend by paying his price premium over a discount chain shop. He fixed an intermittent starting problem which stumped the dealer and a chain shop - he knew all it needed was to put conductive lubricant on the terminal on the starter - solved a 3 year problem for free. When we needed struts the chain said we needed the full assembly - he correctly said we needed only the cartridge - saved us over $100 vs the chain. All the repairs he's done for our 2 cars were done right the first time. The place is a hidden gem.
