They gave me a quote of $400 for the cleaning I requested. I did give them a list of the tasks I wanted completed prior to the estimate. The crew was late, due to an accident on the highway. They got there at about 10a and left around 4:30p. When they left, a quick look through of the house looked reasonable. This weekend I was able to take a closer look, and it was not good. Closets, windows, the third floor, and kitchen hadn’t been touched. I called to let them know, and they offered to come back out, but I declined. They are also charging us $375 for 7 hours of cleaning. The estimate was based on the square footage, and now they want to switch to hourly. Now they are saying the total includes $45 for travel and equipment charge, plus $20/hour ($40/hr since two people were there cleaning). Each time I speak with them, they add more money to the cost. The crew only did about 1/5 of the work, and what work was done was inadequate. Myself and my family had to re-do all the work this weekend.
