The guy from 1st Call Electric did good work.  The first time he came in, in 2010, our house didn’t have any wiring that was heavy duty enough to put an electric stove in the kitchen, so he had to go down and run a big wire from the circuit breaker box up to the kitchen.  Last year, my wife had a new porch light put on by this guy and he updated the outlets in the house.  He was on-time.  He did a good job, though it wasn’t necessarily cheap.  This time, when he came over, he talked to us and gave us a free estimate and we also found out that he had his own country music band and my wife likes country music.  What I’ve got to say is that we just get a feeling about somebody when we talk to them whether we can trust their work.  We brought them out the second time because my wife was satisfied with their work, though they were not the cheapest, but we wouldn’t want the cheapest person when they are fooling around with the electrical work.  With regard to responsiveness, I have had to call them back a couple of times.  I would recommend them and we probably want to get some new lighting put out at the car porch out at the back, so we will definitely call them up to see if they are still around.
