Kyle Freed showed up. His demeanor is very unprofessional. After he gave his "opinion" of newer appliances and how they aren't any good, basically bashing all my brands, etc. He said I needed a new ice maker. He took the fee upfront. I provided the new LG ice maker in the box as he recommended. He "installed" it. It never worked. I called and called, he said I needed to wait a few more days. Then, it started leaking. Soaking the fridge and freezer below. Refused to fix or refund me. Very bad business. Said he would only refund me if I could "find another repairman" who could fix it. I did. An LG service provider came out. Showed me the bad installation. The water line wasn't connected! It's now working. Second repairman fixed it with no problem. Kyle Freed should not be in business. He will rip you off!

Kyle was called on 4/23/2013 and returned the call and showed up on 4/24/2013. After looking at the refrigerator he indicated that the ice maker wasn't cycling and that the ice maker needed to be replaces. He got the parts and installed them on 4/25/2013. He them said it was fixed and left. That evening we called and told him it still didn't appear to be working. He came back and looked at it and said that the unit (replacement parts) must be defective and that happens. He installed another unit but that didn't work either. He called us and indicated he would be back to look at it again. We called him 5 times since May 3rd and he never called back. Our most recent call to him was on June 19th but he did not return that call either. I then contacted Aand E Factory Service on June 20th online and they came out on the morning of June 21st. The technician opened the freezer and in 10 minutes told us the problem was the sensor which controls the ice maker in the door. He replaced the sensor which included two pieces on each side of the freezer, gave us a 90 day warranty for parts and labor and told us to call if there were any problems. This repair service cost me $300 which was only $50 more than Kyle but now the ice maker works perfectly. We had used Kyle previously and were satisfied but when he just stopped returning calls it was extremely frustrating. So we are out $250.00 from Silver Lining Services for a repair that wasn't successful. We will never use Silver Lining Services again.

Great service! I called around 9am, and Kyle was here and done by 11:30am. The first thing he did after pulling the fridge out was clean the floor behind - amazing! He was friendly and professional, and even had a treat for our two dogs. I couldn't be happier with the level of service and the speed of repair. Kyle really knows his craft and is meticulous and clean. He even held up the fridge so I could vacuum the coils underneath!

.Kyle came out the same day and spent a good half a day fixing the washer. He also had to go out and get some additional parts and still came back and fixed the washer the same day. Kyle was extremely professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend Kyle for any and all appliance repairs.

I have had several very good experiences with this company. The owner is very professional, responsive, competent and reasonaly priced. He even called me three months after the date of service to remind me that it was time to get a new filter for my freezer! He shows up when he says he will and works quickly. He also seems to keep his costs down as much as possible.

Kyle said he knew the problem over the phone. He came with a new circuit panel replaced and left -- $225 charge. One month later same problem (had been away on vacation 2 weeks over this period.) Kyle said over phone part must be defective. Return did testing could not find any other problem, replaced the circuit panel again -- $100 charge, dryer working. Several days later same problem. Kyle says over the phone he has no idea how to fix the problem suggests I go to Sears. Paid $200 in advance to Sears. Technician comes replaces (inexpensive relay probably $5 part) in ten minutes. Paid Kyle $225 service fee, $100 part for non-repair. In the end I paid $500 for a 10 minute replacement of a $5 part.

This is a great company to use. They are very respectful and we have since asked them their opinions on other units we have in the house. They told us that one of our washing machines isn't worth fixing, and this really showed that they can be trusted.

KYLE IS A YOUNG MAN THAT IS A THROW BACK TO THE DAYS WHEN CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANT SOMETHING. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND WAS WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE TO HAVE HIS CUSTOMER SATISFIED. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES!

PLACED CALL FOR SERVICE AND KYLE WAS ABLE TO COME OUT AND PERFORM THE REPAIR WITHIN AN HOUR OF MY CALL. PRICE QUOTED OVER THE PHONE, WAS THE PRICE I WAS CHARGED FOR THE REPAIR. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A MAJOR APPLIANCE, THAT YOU FEEL IS WORTH HAVING REPAIRED VS. OPTING TO BUY A NEW UNIT. I ALSO CALLED 2 OTHER REPAIR COMPANIES AND PRICE I WAS QUOTED FOR SAME REPAIR WAS APPROX. $25 HIGHER THAN SILVER LINING SERVICES.
