Alderman Contracting

Brian Alderman/Alderman Contracting (and his helper) provided far less than professional services in the re-do of our bathroom. We were not told about every product we would need to buy for the job to be properly finished. Work product and finishing was poor quality. Goods (the new counter, a new cabinet and a table on our stairs) were damaged and never repaired, replaced or paid for them. Floor tiles were installed unevenly. A sink light was hung crooked. We attempted to sue Alderman Contracting for reimbursement of the work we had to have redone, but he declared bankruptcy to get out of the lawsuit.

Brian and his subcontractor did a very poor job. The workmanship was poor and unprofessional. For example: Floor tiles were not properly measured and cut, and they were installed unevenly, which not only looked horrible, it left uneven, potentially harmful edges. He damaged cabinets and marred the new counter top. He hung one of the two vanity lights unevenly. When asked to reimburse us for the damage he and his subcontractor had done, he refused. We are now out thousands, as the bathroom had to be redone to fix his poor workmanship.

Brian was exceptionally responsive and professional from the first contact.  He knew that I was working under a tight deadline and made accommodations to ensure that the project was completed on time.  The quality of the finished product is high.  I plan to use Alderman Contracting for additional projects.
