+ 6 moreJohn always came early for work. He helped us resolve some tricky problems that we faced in renovating an old cabin. He has great ideas and helped us stay close to budget. He is very PATIENT, easy to work with and a kind person! His work is skilled, very precise, and beautifully done! He cleans up after himself. We would not hesitate to have him work on our primary home, if he lived closer. We are looking forward to opening up our cabin soon for the season and working with John to get closer to finishing our project. (This will be our third summer working with John.)
Description of Work: Ongoing renovations to our cabin- Doors, windows, roof, deck, flooring, electrical, carpentry, plumbing.

+ 1 moreJohn was fantastic from beginning to end and is not only a true artist with his painting he is an absolute perfectionist with regard to all of his work. As I live in a circa 1904 shingle style house I am very particular about the craftsmen who do the work. John is my go to artisan for work and I have personally recommended him to many of my friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Bathroom remodel and complete interior paint job including custom faux finishes.

+ 4 moreI have the highest regard for John as a person and as someone who gets a job done. His integrity is unquestionable, he is enjoyable to work with and he is especially creative in finding solutions to the kinds of problems which come up in older houses and buildings.
Description of Work: Over the past five years or so, John has done a number of jobs for us from painting, roofing and grounds construction projects to building a small dam on our stream.
