Dan handled everything from the excavating, footers and foundation,
concrete, brickwork, overhead construction, rails, electrical and
lighting, etc....... He took care of coordinating all inspections,
permitting, and met with me daily to review progress. Due to the large size of the project there were several sub contractors involved. It was evident that they work together frequently by the way they meshed as a team..... Each sub was top notch. . He also made suggestions for items we would never have thought about........ But years later, we're glad we made those changes during the construction process. Also during the process he suggested alternatives for a few things that saved us money on the total cost...... A great collaborative performance......... Yielded a great end result.........

The work was excellent; all of the teardown was done well, and he managed to keep the chaos of working around our day to day to a minimum. He was very responsive to requests and issues that came up during the installation, finished on time and on budget, and took care to make everything right.

Dan DeBor was both professional and very helpful with suggestions/advice to achieve a desirable finished product. The work areas were cleaned up at the end of every day. I was pleased with how quickly each construction task was completed and the quality of the finished remodeling job. I intend to use Dan DeBor on my next remodeling job.

I HIRED DAN AT THE RECOMMENDATION OF PAWLAK PLUMBING. I NEEDED TO HAVE THE BATHROOM FLOOR REPLACED AFTER THE BATHROOM DRAINS IN THE UPSTAIRS BATHROOM WERE REPLACED. DAN WAS HARD TO REACH AND THERE WERE GENERAL COMMUNICATION DIFFICULTIES REGARDING WHO WOULD ORDER THE TILE AND WHEN. THEREFORE, THE JOB TOOK LONGER THAN I HAD EXPECTED. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, DAN WAS UNABLE TO INSTALL A LEVEL FLOOR. HE NAILED THE PLYWOOD SUBFLOOR TO THE EXISTING JOISTS WHICH WERE NOT LEVEL. WHEN I POINTED THIS OUT HE ASSURED ME HE WOULD LEVEL THE TILE WITH A LEVELING COMPOUND. AFTER THE TILE WAS LAID, THE FLOOR WAS OFF BY ABOUT 3/4'' ACROSS 3 FEET. NOT TO MENTION THAT THE TILE WAS NOT FLAT. THIS WOULD CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH FIXTURE INSTALLATION. DAN'S SOLUTION WAS TO PUT THE LEVELING COMPOUND OVER THE NEW TILE AND RETILE OVER THE NEW TILE. THE RESULT WAS BETTER THAN THE INITIAL JOB BUT STILL UNSATISFACTORY. I WILL NEVER HIRE OR RECOMMEND DAN DEBOR GENERAL CONTRACTING.
