The project went very well.  The sunroom has 11 casement windows, all of them very tall.  Under the peak of the roof, he installed two triangular fixed windows.  Tom finished the ceiling to make it look like we have exposed rough sawn beams.  The guy who Tom hired to do the finished carpentry did a phenomenal job.  It includes a stained cedar wainscot paneling and trim work around the windows and doors were clear pine and stained to match the wainscot panels.  I asked for a maintenance free exterior siding.  Tom did a great job installing PVC panels around the windows with vinyl siding up to the bottom of the windows.  We are very happy with the room, inside and out.

We had a sun room that we could
not use most of the year because the insulated glass seals were broken and so
it was too costly to heat the room.  Tom replaced
all the windows, paneling and kneewall and now we have a beautiful sun room
that we can enjoy even on the coldest days in the winter.

Another feature of Tom's skills
is that he was able to reclaim some redwood trim pieces from the old room and
refit them into the new room. This made us very happy because we love the look
of the redwood.

Tom was very easy to work with
and very understanding when we had questions or wanted to make a design change.
 He is trustworthy and honest.  He cleaned up the work area beautifully and
left no trace of any mess.  In addition,
his prices were reasonable for the quality we received.

We would highly recommend Tom and
JK Contractors to anyone that wants a reliable and professional craftsman for
their next home improvement project.

He tore off our old deck,reinforced existing deck structure and laid new Lowes top choice decking.He picture framed the deck,then laid the new boards.He used metal clamps on the grooved boarde,this made a much cleaner surface,not using screws.
He did such a great job my wife and I are telling everyone we see!
