It was easy to work with Dan Polin on the design of our new kitchen. He gave suggestions on what types of cabinet features would work in our kitchen and we were able to have the final design meet all of our needs. The company was very busy so it took some months from when we signed the contract until the work started. When we had the start date the workers showed up on time and worked every day (5 days a week for 4 weeks) until the job was done. They were as clean and neat as possible given the amount of demolition involved. They cleaned up the job site each day and patiently answered my many questions as the job progressed. They handled the building permits, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance installation, and oversaw the flooring and counter top installation. They recommended a painter whom we contracted with separately to finish the job. They addressed any issues quickly and made sure that the final product was completed to our satisfaction. The company quickly responded when I had a question after the job was complete. We are very happy with the end result! Would not hesitate to hire this company again!

We had a bathtub and shower that was completely removed. It was replaced with a beautiful tiled shower with glass door. The linoleum floor was ripped up and replaced with tiles that matched the shower. The old single sink and tiny linen closet were removed and replaced with cherry cabinets with double sinks and pull out drawers for storage under the sinks. On the wall above the sinks they installed wall to wall mirrors with a hidden medicine chest in the center. We love the luxurious look in our new bathroom. Danken was very easy to work with. They take pride in making the customer happy with the project. I would definitely recommend them. They are not the cheapest in the area but they are top of the line in my book.

We are thoroughly pleased with the complete renovation of

them based on a reference from a friend, who had had them do similar work, as well as exhaustive proposals from
several other local construction firms. Danken?s work was superb. From the start, Dan Kirby guided us
effortlessly through a myriad of options and helped us envision our kitchen prior
to the start of construction. As testimony of his consulting skills, now that our kitchen is done, we?re happy
with our selections and wouldn?t change a thing.
Jim and Keith of the construction crew were fabulous. You
could just tell from their personal and professional demeanor that they were
very experienced, worked great together and had done it successfully many times
before. The quality of their work was exceptional. They were well organized, on time and worked clean. If we
wanted something modified or changed, they happily complied. They were in our home for the better part of
a month and I found them to be trustworthy, smart and honest.
You may pay a bit more but if you want your job done right
(and with no drama), I can?t recommend Danken enough and would absolutely hire

From initial proposal onward, all was exceptionally professional. Work was completed exactly as discussed, workers were incredibly clean and considerate, and we were minimally inconvenienced during the 3-4 days it took to complete the job. Dan and Ken offered excellent recommendations on product selection and design, and were honest and considerate throughout the process. Danken does everything right. They sweat the details, communicate effectively, arrive promptly and clean up well after each and every day. The bathroom they did for us turned out great and they never cut any corners. The drywall work they did was done well, too. We are very confident in their work and are booked for another bathroom renovation with them this summer. While some might consider their prices a little higher than average, rest assured it's money well-spent and you will not be disappointed!

The job went great. The design session at their showroom was great without any

Helped me plan the kitchen as to stay within my budget and offered sound advise as to material selection. Kept to the time line for start and completion of project. The employees were top notch craftsmen as well as gentlemen. They were a pleasure to have in our home.
They arrived around 8:00 am everyday and worked until 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm each day. Ken was on site almost everyday checking on the progress. I absolutely love our new kitchen. Thanks to Danken Corp.!

We selected Danken because, even though they are not necessarily the least expensive provider, we knew that they took quality seriously and stood by their work. Everything about the job confirmed this. In particular, our specific work crew (Chris and Eric) were fantastic. Even though the did not necessarily need to, they sought our input on every step of the job (from the exact placement of light fixtures, to the alignment of our floor tiles.) Including us in this way ensured the results matched our expectations, which is important because it is always "the little things" that make the difference in the finished product. If there was ever a big question during the project, Ken (one of the heads of the company) would visit the job site and make sure we were all on the same page. Ken also made a special visit after the completion of the job, to make sure we were satisfied with the results. He even took the time to make a few final tweaks we requested. All along the way they managed the subcontractors and building inspectors well, which guaranteed the timeline was not disrupted, and made the whole process feel seamless.
These days it is often difficult to find vendors who believe in the virtue of quality-for-quality's sake. Danken is one of those vendors.

We could not have been more satisfied with our kitchen remodel by Danken from start to finish. Danken professionals were always responsive and patient as we planned our remodel. They had excellent suggestions and understood our desires. The workmen were prompt, meticulous, polite and so easy to work with. Our kitchen is lovely and made excellent use of our space. We originally contacted Danken for an estimate to remodel our kitchen in Oct. 2013. Dan Polin (owner) came to our house to discuss the project and to take measurements. He is very nice to talk to and very knowledgable.Our next meeting was in his showroom and he showed us his design ideas and gave us a detailed estimate. The showroom is very nice with a lot of cabinets, lighting, storage and backsplash ideas. We really liked Danken but went with another contractor because it would have been until April before they could start our project. That's how good their work must be. We didn't want to wait that long. After about a month with the other contractor, we realized we should have waited for Danken. So we called Dan and asked to be put in their schedule. Dan Polin helped us with the design and helped us make all the decisions about backsplash, cabinets, countertop, sink, faucet and kept it all within our budget. Ken was our project manager and he checked in with the crew and us everyday to make sure everything was going well. The crew was VERY knowledgable, friendly, reliable, neat and worked everyday except when they had to wait for the countertop to be fabricated. What a great experience! The crew not only did high quality work but they were also very compassionate. My husband ended up in the hospital the second day they were here and the last day they were here we had to have our 12 year old golden retreiver euthanized. It was a very emotional time for us but one thing we didn't need to worry about was the Danken guys doing an excellent job.

Great experience. They designed everything and kept everything clean and neat throughout the process. The final product came out better than expected. We had a gas fireplace installed in the basement, and they worked with Ambler Fireplace to install it perfectly. Highly recommended,

We had used Danken to remodel our kitchen about 4 years ago. We were so impressed that we had them back to remodel our bathroom and put in new ceiling tile and lighting in our family room. Very professional, easy to work with, very reliable, always on time, always clean up at the end of each day and great owners that install their ethics in their workers. We wish we had more projects for them to do. We recommend them whenever we can.

Danken did a wonderful job. They were knowledgeable and professional, and took the time to figure out some tricky issues that would give the best appearance as well as function. We initially contacted them to do our project around February or March, but we could not be started until September. We decided to wait for them because we could already see that they had a very good reputation in our area and we got a good feeling about them after meeting with them. It was a good decision. Some choices for our project were very hard to make and they were patient and helpful. If we asked for an opinion, they gave us one...no milk-toasty replies like..."Well, that's for you to decide". That's what we wanted...somebody to tell us if we were going to go down the wrong path. One of our favorite results is the great additional sunshine we get in the kitchen with the new bigger window. Everybody who sees our new kitchen and bathroom love it (and we believe they're not just being nice).

The backsplash didn't get done at the same time as the rest of the kitchen but that was due to our own indecision in picking out the look we wanted. we extensively remodeled and up-graded our aging ranch style house. The project was large and extensive and we moved out during the process, greatly facilitating the work. Danken started work on June 4th and finished on July 31st.
Kitchen- gut existing kitchen, family room, and dining room down to studs including removal of ceilings and interior drywall, move old kitchen/dining room dividing wall, remove flooring & install new, rewire as necessary, re-plumb as necessary, install all supporting heating ductwork, reinsulate ceilings & exterior walls & re-drywall all walls & ceiling, install new cabinets & quartz countertop, sink, lighting, and customer supplied new appliances, install stove ventilation to outside
Family Room- Convert old dining room to new family room including enlarging storage closet, reinsulate ceiling and exterior walls, replace drywall on ceilings & walls, rewire as necessary for TV, phone, receptacles, install ceiling fan
Bathrooms- gut bathrooms to studs, install new drywall & flooring, install new vanities, tube & surround or tiled walk-in shower (master bath), toilet, lighting, and all accessories, install bathroom ventilation to outside, rewire, rehang hall bathroom door, install bathroom/linen closet access door

When work began, there was never less than 2 men working on the job and usually 3. There were as many as 5 working during the initial demolition stages. Danken stayed on the job until it was done. We checked on the work daily with visits usually at the start of the work day and at the end of the work day. Chris, the foreman, was friendly, helpful, and a master carpenter/cabinet maker. Ken Whitmire, the partner managing the fabrication end of the business was always available by phone or in person to handle questions and any changes that came up.
What do you want in a contractor? You want reliability, honesty, and good craftsmanship. Danken supplied all three and we had peace of mind that the job would be done expeditiously and expertly.
Danken is definitely not the least expensive show in town, but we felt our peace of mind was worth their cost given the scope of the project.

My experience with Danken Corp was very good. They have excellent workmanship and kind of added some extras that I originally said I wanted done. I like their workmanship, professionalism and craftsmanship. They cleaned up the house everyday. Unlike other contractors, they came here and didn't leave until they were done. There was no missing days where they're waiting for a plumber or an electrician. They were very polite and I already recommended them to a number of my neighbors to use them. I would say their pricing was high but you get what you paid for. It also had something to do with what you pick out, I have granite counter-tops. I think they were expensive but worth it.

See above We had a price limit and they worked within our price limit and the final bill was very fair. They sat us down at the end and showed us how to use every appliance as well as what we needed to do to the granite countertop to maintain it. The Kitchen looks absolutely great. I would very highly recommend this company. They were great and did a great job. They had a trash dumpster and took all of the trash away. They put down plywood and drop sheets and kept our floor and rest of our home as clean as possible. They vacuumed and cleaned up at the end of every work day.

The renovation was extensive and the work was top quality. They showed up every day and always had a well thought out plan of the day's work. They did great working around delays in materials being available and always kept the project moving. What was even more impressive was the responsiveness to the few items where there were issues. When this occurred quick action was taken by the owners/project managers to resolve the issues. We also had a close neighbor who used this kitchen/bath remodeler with exactly the same experience. I would certainly use this firm again on any home remodeling projects that I undertake. They are a top notch company that has great attention to detail, skilled and pleasant workers, and the entire process was painless from estimation, planning, design, right through execution.

This is our second experience with Danken. We had our kitchen updated in Dec 2010. We loved their company's philosophy, their staff and their workmanship. Danken's office/showroom is located about 1 mile from our home and we wanted to do business with a local contractor. We contacted Dan Polin who had designed our kitchen project for us in Dec. 2010. We also contracted with him to replace the ceiling in our basement family room and install recessed lighting. Dan has a talent when it comes to laying out the steps in selecting products for the project. He assisted in keeping us within our budget, but always offered many selections to choose from. He was always open to our ideas and always answered our many questions. Ken Whitmire notified us when the project would begin and what to expect. He was always available by phone to answer our questions or concerns we had along the way. The crew (on the kitchen, bathroom and basement projects) were exceptional. They always arrived on time, they began working right away, they put down drop cloths to protect the flooring while they were moving things in and out of the house, they were always willing to answer questions, consult with us on design features, they always cleaned up at the end of each day and stored their work tools in an out-of-way area. They did an amazing job with all of the projects and we never had any reservations about them being in our house while we were at work. They were actually able to work on and complete both projects while they were here this time.
We are sorry to say we have run out of major projects for now but we will continue to show off our new rooms and recommend Danken to everyone.

Great job they were on time everyday, when they started the job they did not leave until it was finished. Very neat, professional and polite. We were very picky about what we wanted done and they accommodated us when we wanted to make changes. When they left for the day everything was cleaned up and tidy. They started on time and completed in the time frame that was agreed on. They stuck to the contact to the letter. Even now if there is some little thing that we did not notice at the time we call and they come right out and fix it, no extra expense. We are so very pleased with their service. I would use them for all my other remodeling jobs.
