About us

Will Cordero and his wife Catherine started the business in 1972 from very humble beginnings. Will came out of the Vietnam war and went to school at APEX in Philadelphia. He earned his degree and after a few years of working with other heating and air conditioning companies in the area, his entrepreneurial spirit called him to start C&C. Will maintained the day to day operations while his wife, Catherine, performed the bookkeeping duties, both working out of their home for many years. In 1981 Will’s first building, consisting of office, warehouse and sheet metal shop, was built in Hatfield, PA. In 2006 C&C moved to their new facility in Souderton, PA, where it is today. C&C grew from 4 employees to 100. Two of the original employees are still with them today. In 1989, their son Doug, joined the business. Doug received his degree from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, formerly Williamsport Area Community College located in Williamsport, PA. He started in the construction level and learned every aspect of the business. Today, as Vice President, he oversees the day to day operations. He is married to Mary and has two beautiful daughters, Katelin and Samantha. Their business was founded on faith, trust and loyalty to family, their employees and their customers. After hearing about this company from my neighbor and in the church bulletin we decided to give them our business. Things were great in the beginning, but then after the install we ran into a big problem that could have been major. After that I learned the AC system we had put outside was the entry level model with minimal efficiency when I was told I was choosing the better of the systems not just the good one. Our next door neighbors use them as well and their AC systems are more efficient and I know one of them paid the same amount that we did. They even told me I was getting a veterans discount because I'm a disabled veteran on a fixed income. This was my fault for not questioning every move they made. I would not look at these reviews and blindly higher them without doing your due diligence. I wish I could be one of the 4.8 star satisfied people.

Excellent. We’ve had Todd as our service technician for the past 10-15 years and he’s been great. Honest, reliable and very knowledgeable. We get their service contact every year for our heat pump. We’ve never had any issues with C & C. They replaced our heat pump a few years ago and they were very professional.

C&C installed my HVAC equipment 20 years ago, and replaced the AC units 2 years ago. Their sales, customer service team and technicians are consistently efficient, on-time, and pleasant. The maintenance plan provides a meticulous annual equipment inspection, cleaning and tune-up, as well as offering several additional savings benefits. I solicited three proposals when it came time to replace my 2 AC units. C&C was the only one that proposed keeping the hi-efficiency heaters, which were operating like a champ (due to their excellent maintenance!) and install new coils and outdoor AC units. That saved me a ton of money, the heaters continue to work like new, the AC units have provided noticeably-improved efficiency over the old ones…and they look great! It is challenging to find knowledgeable contractors that provide sound, honest support, and competitive pricing as I receive from Linda (maintenance administrator), Todd (field technician) and Darin (sales). That is C&C, and I would not go anywhere else.

I had a situation when my heater went down. I decided to buy a new one. They installed it in one day. They came out the next day and did a great job installing it. I have prior air conditioning system from them and they do maintenance on that. Very good with their service and I like them a lot.

C&C came out and installed inside and outside unit to replace my aging Heat Pump system. Tom C was great to work with on my quote and also the estimating process providing suggestions and recommendations based on my use. The team came out and installed a quality, well done installation. The new unit is working great!

I have used C&C as my hvac provider for over 25 years. Overall, they have been quite responsive to any issues that have occurred. For this latest work, I needed to replace a 10 year old unit. My old unit had a bad circuit board which prevented the AC from working correctly. Since this was an older unit, the price to replace the board was $500. Personally, I felt this was expensive (but what do I know about hvac?). Anyway, I got a price for a new unit, snd it wasn't as bad as expected. The guys came out the following week, and the unit was installed within a day. A quality install, but not perfect. The new thermostat was not programmable (like my old one). Made a call, and they were out the next day with a replacement. Months later, noticed the heating unit running longer than usual. During a maintenance call, mentioned this to the technician, and he found a wiring issue. He switched the wiring, and it runs fine. Are they perfect? No.....but they are reliable in following up with correcting any issues.

They're punctual. They always show up on time. They give you a window and they always make the window, and if they don't they call you and tell you that they're running behind. I can't say that I would change anything, they're pretty straight. They tell you if your systems are a go and if they don't they say there is a problem that needs to be fixed now or you can wait until the system blows up on you and you can call us then. They're anticipating the issue before hand and you can fix it now or wait until it blows up and then you call them out. I've only had C & C 20 years if that's any indication.

They come out twice a year. It was good. They completed the task without running into any issues. They were clean. They installed the system in about 4 hours or 4 ½ hours. They did precisely what they said they were going to do. In fact, I badgered the poor guy because it was a wifi thermostat and I am technologically impaired. He really reviewed everything with me a few times. until I had it down. I was very happy. I’ve always found them responsive.

The techs were fantastic and explained everything along the way. They had to bring in everything through my house and did a great job keeping the floors covered and cleaned up afterwards. Very neatly done following all codes and within a day of water heater breaking.. These guys do a good job & follow up service if needed is excellent. Most other folks will not size you flue or pipes right but these guys are v good... Just wish it was somewhat cheaper but I realize it was a lot of work and the heater is good quality with 10 yr warranty...

Very well. They always come out during the time window agreed on, work efficiently and review the results when completed with me. They are always pleasant and sometimes have the same person as prior maintenance appointment. Below cost is for 2 maintenance visits approx 6 months apart so they check on the heating and air conditioning systems.

They give me a whole year. They are very good with working with modular homes since we do not have crawlspace and things like that. It seems like a lot people in this community have used them and been happy. The prices are very competitive. The fellow that came here is definitely an A, he was very good. It took me a little bit of time but not like I had an issue. I highly recommend them.
