Best of Times Professional DJs & Entertainers

We had the pleasure of working with John as our DJ. We could not be happier! After changing our date due to the pandemic, he was so understanding about everything. In 2015 we were also able to celebrate with John during my sisters wedding. We had no doubt that everyone would get onto that dance floor with all the props they had to offer. We had lots of laughs while interacting with our guests & the variety of music was excellent! Best of Times was so easy to work with and they are a blast!

John was a pleasure to work with for our November 2020 wedding. When we had to reschedule from May John was flexible and attentive to our concerns and needs. The day of wedding John and his assistant were great. He kept our guests dancing and and provided lots of great props that our guest truly loved and had fun with. My favorite thing John did was take a song from my dinner play list That's Amore and made it special and made up little papers for the tables with the words and incorporated it into a fun sing along with the guests. Such a wonderful fun touch!!!! Overall I would highly recommend Best of Time's DJs for your next event .

Best of Times DJs truly made our wedding day even more spectacular. All our guests had a wonderful time and kept commenting on how amazing the DJ was. They really loved the involvement of the guests into the entertainment. The "competition" between the different tables and all the props handed out on the dance floor made the night even more fun! I have been to quite a few weddings and Derek from Best of Times is the absolute best. People are still talking about how great my DJ was. My guest loved him, everybody danced. I highly recommend. I can’t wait to plan my next event just to hire him again. The lighting was beautiful and the giveaways were fun.

Alyson Dj'd our October 2018 wedding! She was fantastic throughout the whole process! Aly and John were always easy to contact and made our special day exactly what we wanted. We had multiple guests (during the ceremony and after) tell us how much they enjoyed the DJ and what a great time they were having. Aly played music that we requested (we were pretty vague only giving a few songs but mostly genres). She was able to play music that kept us and our guests on the dance floor till the reception ended!

Best of Times kept the energy high all night long by interacting with guests. Everyone had a blast! The music selection process was simple, yet thorough, with many different genres available including EDM, which is what my husband and I prefer. John’s voice sounds great on a mic, and that’s a plus!!

He is always well received and liked by the over 200 people that are at our events. I would always recommend him for excellent service and a professional job.

Mitchell Cathcart was a delight for our Red Hat Witches Ball. Mitchell was punctual and wasted no time in setting up his equipment and was playing his music before the event started. His selection was excellent. The dancing music was well received and brought us all to the dance floor. Mitchel took requests and played just what we wanted for dancing. He was polite and thanked us all for having him at our event.

The Best of Times DJ's were great. My wedding guest loved them. The DJ's handed out props which my guests really enjoyed. I would hire them again in a minute. When I had to call them they returned my calls promptly. They are well know in my area and have been in business for a long time

John was a pleasure to deal with.  This was a surprise party, so it required some advanced planning and coordination. John was professional throughout. John had great song selections and suggestions throughout the party, and took requests as well. All the guests had a fabulous time. I could not have asked for a better experience.

We had our wedding on April 16th, 2016 and three months later we are still receiving compliments on how much fun everyone had. Derek called us the week before our wedding and made sure he had all of the bridal party names correct and all the songs were planned out perfectly. Everyone had a prop or three and even the guests who don't like to dance were having a good time and were involved in the fun. WELL WHAT CAN I SAY EXPECT THAT  I WAS EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH JOHN AND CO. HE WAS IN TOUCH WITH ME FROM BEGGING TO END AND HELPED ME AS A SINGLE DAD PLAN OUT THIS VERY IMPORTANT EVENT. HE ALSO HAD TO HAVE A VARIETY OF MUSIC FOR PEOPLE FROM 16 TO 75YEARS OLD. HE CAME THROUGH AND HAD EVERYONE ON THE DANCE FLOOR. HE WAS RESPECTFUL FOR THE RESTAURANT AND OUR GUEST ON HOW LOUD THE MUSIC WAS. IT WAS AT THE PERFECT VOLUME. HE SURPRISED US ALL BY GETTING SELECT GUEST TO GO OUT AND DRESS UP AND DO THE YMCA AND IT WAS A BIG HIT. WE ALSO HAD TO CHANGE SOME THINGS AT THE LAST MINUTE AND HE WAS ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT A PROBLEM . WE KEPT HIM AN EXTRA HALF HOUR CAUSE THE PARTY WAS GOING SO GREAT AND EVERYONE LOVED HIM AND HIS ANNOUNCING WERE GREAT. HIS PROPS WERE GENEROUS AND GREAT AND HE GOT EVERYONE INVOLVED. IF YOU NEED A DJ YOU NEED HIM. I WOULD LIKE TO ADD HE WORKS WITH A BEST OF TIMES PHOTO BOOTH WHO WERE A GREAT HIT AND WE RAN THAT BOOTH ALL NIGHT LONG. Professional from beginning to end. John Estrada made our day seamless.  Music was great, entertainment was fantastic. They brought props and had guests participate throughout the evening. If you don't have a good time with these guys doing your reception, there's a problem with your guests. I recommend them whole-heartedly.  They worked with us on every aspect of our wedding, and were very organized and thorough. Feel at ease when hiring them.

They were awesome!  They were responsive, punctual and professional.  They were wonderful with my guests and made the graduation party even more festive.  He also walked around and took pictures of the party and posted them on line which was an extra service he provided complimentary.  On top of that, he and his son stayed after the party and helped me clean up!  When I tipped him, he said this was not the reason he helped - he was so kind and his son was a wonderful young man.  Definitely would use again!

Best of Times DJs went above and beyond to provide high quality service at my July 2014 wedding.  John and his assistant got all of our guests onto the dance floor with a great mix of music.  Even though we didn't ask for it, John brought out some fun props for our guests to dance and party with.  He also created an awesome patriotic tribute to my brother-in-law who is overseas serving in Afghanistan.  Overall, we were incredibly pleased with Best of Times, and they helped to make our wedding the most perfect day possible!

This provider made the event a total success. The dj was attentive and responsive. The props were a hit and the professionalusm was outstanding. Everyone had an amazing time.

They were great and awesome. They were very professional and always got back to us. They were very easy to work with. I would recommend them to anybody.

WOW!  What a great party!   We had a birthday party for my daughter and hired BestOfTimes to DJ the event.   Nick was our MC/DJ.   He was a true professional from beginning to the very end.   I also think Nick was a "true fit" for our party because he relates well with the young crowd.  We had 30 girls (only) and several days later I found out that they thought Nick was "cute".    We went with the premiere package that included giveaways.   The giveaways were a HUGE hit!   The girls loved the glow in the dark bracelets and the bling necklaces!   We also decided to go with the Photo Booth.   Well, that was even a BIGGER hit!   The photo booth was not the typical style you see in the arcades.  This was a much bigger booth with endless options.   And, at the end of the evening, my daughter walked away with a scrap book of all the photo booth prints that were taken during the party (they make doubles immediately--1 for the scrap book and they other for those who posed) and her friends and family members were able to sign and make comments for her to cherish for years to come.   Thank you BestOfTimes for making my daughter's birthday party a success!

Pros: An experience in and of itself when you hire these DJs, they can't be beat!
Cons: A bit pricey, but worth every dollar.
Do: Appreciate the hard work and determination they put into making your celebration one to remember!
Dont: Try to restrict the music playlist too much, these guys know what they're doing, and love doing it!
