It went extremely well. First, he was extremely responsive. Every question I had was answered promptly and completely. He was able to give me a rough estimate via email when I sent him a number of pictures of the clock. I was further surprised that he was then able to stick to the estimate. In my experience when working with old rundown mechanical objects, there is always something that is lurking out of view and estimates via pictures have to be tricky. Because we are out-of-state, I had to have the clock shipped, and Kevin gave me some advice on it. That went well. I would recommend him from anywhere, shipping wasn't a problem, and was relatively cheap. The whole process went fairly fast, and all the work was completed in about a week. Most importantly, we have it back, and it looks and seems to be working great. A truly excellent experience! I totally recommend Back In Time if you have and old clock you need repaired/restored.
Description of Work: Kevin fully restored an old Ansonia mantle clock which had been in our family for over 100 years and was both not working, and in fairly rough shape.
