Chimneys & More

It went well. My husband & I have used him for years at our old home. I have also recommended him to friends.

I was contacted by Greg (owner) for the estimate in a timely manner. Both Greg and his brother Gary have been working with chimneys since their youth and brought that special element of "skilled craftsmenship" & knowledge to the job which was on a Circa 1880 building converted to a homestead (which as in all older buildings there are going to be grandfathered in issues). The weather was very hot and humid and  for many times as they climbed the ladder both always carried a smile & kind words with them. There's something to be said about family run business- they treat you & your property with respect.
The warranty on their work is lifetime and transferable which is another plus!
They were recommended to me through Kring's Hearth and Home.

It was not his fault.  Every time we called him, he came out and tried to get the problem squared away.  I think the stove was defective or something was wrong with it from the start.  I think the factory shipped the unit as defected.  When we took it apart we noticed that the paint was removed off and the screws on the one side where the access panel is had been unscrewed.  Someone had gotten into that stove prior to me accepting it.  It was bought from the factory.  His services were okay under the circumstances.  He couldn’t do much more than he did because I believe his hands were tied.  He is at the mercy of the distributor.  I will use his services again, but not if he has to go through the same distributor.
