I tried to write an extensive review of my terrible experience with this company and I got Kicked off. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE AND LIE TO YOU.

I hired them, signed a contract but no work was ever done. When they didnâ  t show up the second time with no phone call - I had to call them - I suspected they werenâ  t dependable, but checked them out online . . . only one review in the past two years. It was a lengthy, detailed account of promises made and not met. Feeling my suspicions were validated I called and cancelled. I was very disappointed because Bill was kind, appeared knowledgeable, but certainly not professional.

At first, my experience with L Harrison was great. They were the first to call and came out the same day to measure and provide an estimate. I hired them on the spot as I was anxious to get driveway done and did not have other companies provide estimates as I usually do. I got burned. They scheduled to do the job the following week starting around 8am. They ended up arriving at noon and were gone by 3pm, another red flag. I got to take a good look at their work following day and discovered many problems: 1) There were low spots in the areas that were settling before and should have been flat. 2) The driveway now has a bump instead of flat at the sideways as we were promised. This was a big one for me as the snow blower will hit it and stop. 3) They promised to trim the bushes back that hung over driveway....they did not and now I have high spots where the roller could not get to the edge. 4) They were supposed to remove the existing asphalt from the garage back about 14 feet. They only removed about a foot so the garage entrance would be level like the sidewalks were supposed to be. Easy to know since one of my sidewalks is 3 feet from the garage entrance and its high. 5) They left a huge mess in the street of broken asphalt and tar sprayed on my curb. Yes I have pictures. 6) The concrete apron to the driveway was chewed up by their equipment. They should have placed a protective device to stop that. I called and let them know I was not happy and they told me that they will make it right because customer satisfaction is the biggest thing to them. He said that he would come on Sunday after 2pm. Well, I waited around the entire day waiting and he did not show up or call to explain. Called back the following week and was told again he would be here today (Tuesday Nov 8, 2022). Another no show and no call to explain. I do NOT recommend L Harrison and advise you to look elsewhere. Also, get a few companies to come out and give estimates and check with their references. Do not just rely on online reviews. Hope this helps.

The original estimate included more extensive work. When we were told what the final price would be, it was only about 10% less than the first estimate. Sounds fishy.

yes we had to get a parking lot. and called Harrison had came and gave us a estimate . great prices and great work they came couples days after the estimate.i would recommend this company for there great work ,if we need to call them again for more work we will . thank you Harrison

This was one of the best contracting experiences I've ever had. They gave me a great price to tear up and replace my driveway. The work was excellent and the customer service and responsiveness was great.

It's a very reliable business. The work quality was excellent. The workers were coming on time as scheduled and were very polite and friendly. The Business owner was great. I am planning to hire him again.
