"(Member name removed) and his wife (Member name removed), have filed numerous false complaints regarding my work with the BBB, as well as other rating agencies. The work performed was accepted by them, and then they refused to pay for the work performed. I should note, that they agreed to pay the full amount for the work that was performed when they had a meeting with me, and with the General Contractor. They neglected to pay $2,200.00 of the final invoice. I discovered later that (Member name removed) re-wired switches and overloaded circuits with over-sized, non-recommended fixtures after I had left, thereby causing sparking and tripping breakers, and attempted to blame it on me. I have done numerous projects for the general contractor that was hired my these two guys, and have NEVER had a problem with property owners trying to blame me for their mistakes. I found out later that these two guys also tried to stop payment to other contractors on the same jobsite using the same rhetoric they displayed here on Angie's List. In fact, the General Contractor they used for this job has turned down additional work from them for these very reasons. I am now in the process of suing these two guys for non-payment."
