Brad (owner)... rconfirmed no Trans leak...did suggest replace water pump and exhaust manifold that was leaking,..They did an awesome and thorough job replacing both , in addition to what I needed done. All work was done promptly and professionally....Great service...

After waiting 35 minutes before anyone even approached or asked if I needed anything, I finally approached Brad who I found out was the owner of the shop. His arrogance was beyond overwhelming!! He acted as if I was bothering him and basically told me what his hourly rate was and could I afford that?! First and foremost, I would not have given him a cent at this point! Secondly....not only could I afford it but I have many relatives and friends who live in the area that I would have gladly recommended to his business, but will make sure that they all know NOT to bother and will see they spread the word as well!!

My 11 year old Honda CRV needed a new alternator. Upon closer inspection it also turned out the battery also needed to be replaced. I decided to try Southern Stables upon the recommendation of a close personal friend and I was satisfied overall with their service. They were friendly and helpful and diagnosed the problem (even though I had already done some preliminary assessment using a volt meter) and they replaced the parts in one day. Their facility is one of the most professional and cleanest ones I've seen lately?.in fact, I feel it is the nicest one in Southern York county! And, the mechanics are ASE certified. The only add'l comment I have is I feel their labor rates are rather high ($90) for diagnostic testing and the same for their hourly rate. These labor rates are actually higher than I've previously paid at nearby Honda dealers here in PA. Again, this isn't a deal breaker for me when a service provider can prove to me that the quality and accuracy of their work can justify the higher labor rate. Southern Stables performed the work accurately and I trusted them with my vehicle. They provide great customer service and I will gladly consider them again when my vehicle needs service... but certainly hope they will work to keep their labor rates more reasonable.

I had just purchased a car, and wanted it inspected. They recommended to get new brakes, which I had them do. I have used them numerous times, and they are always very professional. They also let me know if there is something that doesn't have to be taken care of. So far, I have no complaints.
