Outstanding service completed in time told wll definately have them do more auto work

My truck would not start. It had spark and some fuel smell from removed sparkplug while cranking engine over. Martins made arrangements to have it towed to their shop to look at it. Within a week they told me it was the fuel pump. The truck has 2 fuel tanks and only 1 worked prior to starting problem. While removing the tank they discovered it had a leak at the strap and was too rusty to bother patching. So a choice had to be made of replacing the front pump or the rear tank and pump. Upon checking the front tank they found a lot of rust inside the tank and would need replaced as well. They priced both tanks and the larger, rear tank was less expensive. So we opted to replace it and the pump. The next day they called to tell me the truck was ready to be picked up. They contacted me several times to keep me updated on the status and decisions to be made. With an appointment it usually takes 1 to 2 weeks to get in since they have a good reputation for doing the job right in a reasonable time. So it pleased me to get it back within a week and a half without an appointment.

After buying a mini-van, we wanted to be sure that it didn't have any hidden problems before we took a long trip. We are "regulars" at Martin's Garage, so we asked them to check out the vehicle for us. On arrival to the office we were greeted warmly. The mechanic there readily agreed to test our vehicle. He took it on the road and declared it ready to go within a short time. They didn't charge us for this service, and we were able to go on our trip with assurance.

I was having transmission trouble and had my vehicle towed to Martin's Garage LLC. They have been known to be good for their automatic transmission service in the past. As usual with them, it was two weeks before they could even look at my vehicle. At first they replaced the valve body and thought that would fix it, however they found out that that did not fix the problem. They called me and said that they could go into the transmission and repair the parts that appear to be worn for $2000 or have a complete rebuild for $2800. With the complete rebuild, they would provide a 2 year, 24000 mile warranty. The general repair of worn parts would not allow for any warranty. I opted with the complete rebuild and my vehicle is running great.
