WWJD? Sell me a really crappy car!
I bought a car here over the summer for a too-good-to-be true price, despite several red flags. Red flag #1 - was only allowed to drive the car a couple of miles as a test drive. Red flag #2- very loud brake noise was explained away as being due to car sitting on lot. However, when I persisted it was a rotor problem. Since I bought the car, I have replaced the engine (!!), tires, tie-rods (?), and brakes. Additionally I will need a catalytic converter to pass inspection. There is also a loud radio-feedback-ish noise at high speeds. I have now spent about what the car is worth, not including my time/hassle. When I informed the dealership of my issues, it was my fault for not bringing the car back for service to a place that very likely knowingly sold me a piece of junk. Or maybe my mechanic (a family member!) was the shady one. Avoid Middle Ridge Motors, because swearing/using the Lord's name in vain/abortion is wrong, but dishonesty is a-okay!
